Juliana Hotel Colombo

Room rate is little bit costly based on room condition.

Not appropriate for a standard tourist to stay

First of all , the price of the hotel for what you get is ridiculous. The room was so outdated and no window to open for ventilation so therefore smelt awfully damp and was off putting whilst trying to sleep on the terribly, uncomfortable , lumpy , unclean bed , never slept on a bed as uncomfortable in my life. The TV did not work , the air conditioning was so loud I thought a plane was landing on the roof. The bathroom smelt like the sewers and looked like it hasn’t had an update since 1952. There is no wifi in the room but there is in the lobby but is so slow and useless there is no point trying to use it. And also there is designated smoking areas on each floor right next to bedrooms so can smell camel cigarettes being smoked all night. Overall would not recommend.

Je n ai pas l habitude de laisser un commentaire mais pour ici je le fais Hôtel qui sent l humidité Chambre qui sent mauvais Chambre qui a besoin d être entièrement refaite Salle de bain sale et l eau chaude ne fonctionne pas Clim qui fonctionne malgré son look délabré mais l air froid donne direct sur le visage qd on est au lit Lit tres grand (2x2) mais pas confortable J ai préféré dormir recroquevillé sur le canapé. J avais reservé 2 nuits. Je suis resté qu un soir. Pas de remboursement possible ou geste commercial de la direction A fuir !!!!!

My recent stay at Juliana Hotel in Colombo left me with mixed feelings. The main concern was the overall condition of the hotel, which was disappointing. The cleanliness of the room and toilet was expressly poor, and I even encountered bugs in the toilet. The air conditioner was loud and noisy, contributing to an unpleasant experience. There was also a persistent bad smell in the room, and several lights were not working. To top it off, I noticed holes on the bedsheet. On a more positive note, the friendly staff and the hotel's good location were redeeming factors. However, the hotel needs to address the cleanliness and maintenance issues to offer a more comfortable experience for guests.

A very central, well run and managed and very liberal hotel. All rooms are air conditioned. Have huge TV. Hot water. And great restaurants and banks etc right next to it. Highly recommended!

Room had strong smell of smoke. Old, run down furniture and bed. Leaky toilet, stained fixtures. Bugs in room

部屋には小さなゴキブリだらけで、ドアの鍵も大変開けづらかった。トイレの床も最初から濡れていて、建物全体が古めかしい感じがした。

Very bad experience in Juliana ,worst rooms no lights and half the time lift is not working , no restaurant also, very bad experience.

Good location, helpful staff and first place i wasnt swamped with mosquitos. Would have loved a kettle though....

Overall for the rate, I was very pleased with the hotel. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. My room was cleaned everyday. Had the basic amenities. Got fresh towels everyday. AC was old but worked like a charm so no complaints. Cons: There was a smell in the washroom that wouldn't go, and the bed mattress is very hard, you can feel the coils. But I didn't mind it much, and my son was good with it too. Overall very pleased and would stay here again.

It has seen much better days. it wasn't particularly clean. I had to ask to for a clean sheet on my bed. I would not recommend to anyone.

The very best value for money Hotel in the very centre of Colombo. Discreet. Efficient. We love the Juliana. Although it's a bit.. 🤔 Dated

Although in certain need of serious renovation and refurbishment. The centrally located Juliana is the best value for money hotel for miles around. Discreet. Well equipped. And also perfect if you enjoy Korean food

I had to check in early since I reached the hotel bit early than the actual check in time. They made us to wait for 2 hours in lobby even thought they had room available on that time. Front desk staff said, that's their policy we have to wait till 7am till second shift in order them to release the room.. It's totally unbelievable and poor service for their guest..

the room was spacious. the stuff was kind. the location is very good. the hotel.must repair. old property, water was drop from the toilt, no closet to put things. to kettkle to make coffee. notice they wanted charge me extrae price on the wi fi till i show them my order it was in free.
