Room was very disappointing!! Balcony door broken.bed broken.fan not working!!

The apartments were fine, but definitely not amazing - if you need to stay for a short period, in this part of the city, and your budget it tight (Zurich is pricey), there aren't really a lot of other options. In my opinion the rating when I booked (8.something out of 10) is overly generous, even for a reasonably keen price. General cleanliness was OK, but not great - common areas clearly get a lot of traffic, the bedding and towels were clean and fresh (but very cheap and/or very old) but soft furnishings in both our rooms were stained and very, very tired. Taps and showers were in desperate need of replacement, kitchen units and flooring was bashed and has seen many hard miles. Check-in is in theory very simple (get an email ahead of time / get a lockbox code / get a key) but as we had 2 rooms on our booking it was actually a case of guess which code is working, open that room, find an un-labelled key on the coffee table, try that in the other room door - not ideal when the 2 members of staff arrive on entirely different flights. All-in-all, acceptable and I've stayed in worse, but it wouldn't be on my list of places to book again, even considering the fairly reasonable price.

First, the good: check-in is easy, the apartment is incredibly spacious, and with a balcony. Well-located, just steps away from a tram stop and a grocery. The bad: zero amenities. No soap of any kind, not even dish soap. By my count, the complete amenities list is three forks, a spoon, a pot, a used sponge, three dishes, and toilet paper. No bowls, so if you want cereal, you’re eating it out of a pot. The oven and refrigerator work, but the dishwasher does not. No coffee paraphernalia. There is a laundry, but it’s in a haunted basement down a cobwebby stairwell, so I can’t speak to it. The decor is bleak and furniture is basically “2008 IKEA gone to seed.” Functional, but falling apart in the specific way that 20 year old color-by-numbers furniture decays. There’s some Jackson Pollock-esque food splatter above the stove, as if a pot of baked beans exploded three years ago. Oh, did I mention the ant infestation? They travel in an ant superhighway from the bathroom to the bedroom. Attempts were made (blocking holes, poisoning paths) to disrupt their activities but they found different routes. At a certain point, we conceded that we were living in the ants’ apartment and made efforts to coexist. I ate my cereal out of the pot with the only spoon and marveled at the adaptive sophistication of the ant colony.

Leider war das Apartment nicht wirklich gereinigt beim checkin. Nach kurzer Mitteilung kam auch zügig nochmal das Putzteam und hat erneut gewischt etc. Wirklich sauber war es dann zwar immer noch nicht, aber besser als vorher. Geschirrspüler war verdreckt, Boden dreckig, Bad nicht wirklich sauber, teils Haare von anderen, Möbel zum Teil kaputt etc. Die Matratze war sehr durchgelegen und weich. Dafür war es immerhin vergleichsweise günstig. Aber nochmal müsste nicht sein. Dann lieber mehr zahlen woanders.

Das Zimmer hat alles, was es braucht. Die Lage ist super. Gleich nebenan die Tramhaltestelle und man ist schnell in der Stadt oder am Bahnhof/ Flughafen. Die Matratze ist etwas weich und das Zimmer hat eine ordentliche Reinigung nötig. Der Boden war sehr staubig und die Ablageflächen in der Kochecke sind klebrig. Ein Rolladen ist defekt.

A comfortable stay, in a spacious apartment, near by the University. Kitchen setup is adequate to prepare basic meals; only a dual cooktop, no grill/ oven. surprisingly there were no coffee mugs and only one set of cutlery, despite being otherwise well appointed for a couple to stay.

The lack of cordiality and poor communication sum up my perception of this place! Since everything is done virtually, good communication is essential. The host doesn't respond to emails, doesn't answer calls…! When messages are sent, they're standard. If you're staying at this place, be aware that nothing can go wrong; otherwise, it's difficult to resolve with the owner. Not to mention other details like a four-burner stove that only works, no dish sponge, no dish towel… etc. I don't know if the owner can come here to explain with pre-written phrases that it's good to have this feedback… In any case, I honestly don't believe that, as it's in his nature; he just transmits this personality to his customer service.

Would like a refund, it was so gross, didn't look like what I paid for overall. It felt unsafe and the room was so gross I couldn't even lay down in the bed no a good choice so expensive too

Um den Keycode zu bekommen musste ich mehrfach telefonieren da die E-Mail nicht ankam. In der Unterkunft war einer der Rollläden kaputt und konnte nicht hochgezogen werden. Daher sehr dunkel im Zimmer. Im Bad war keine Glühbirne in der Fassung, ich musste mit offener Tür und dem Licht aus dem Zimmer duschen. Bei offenen Fenstern in der Nacht ziemlich laut da an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Sauberkeit war gut.

First I have to mention we were there during a heat wave, without that the stay would have been more pleasant. Our studio was on the top floor, so it was really hot. There is no air conditioning, which I knew, but also the shutters on one of the windows were permanently shut, so we could not create a draft to cool down during the night. Some of the other apartments had balconies, so I assume they had better options for airing out. There is a cute little patio at the back of the house, but we did not stay long enough to use it. The Apartment was facing the busy street with the tram, so it was kind of noisy, since we had to have the windows open. The apartment is very functional, but a bit worn. Everything was clean, this is Switzerland, but there was no love in the place, just functionality. Getting the key with the automated system worked great and was very easy, good instructions. Zürich is extremly expensive, so we were glad we found this place so conveniently located, but for the same amount of money in Hamburg, I stayed at a very nice hotel.

싱크대가 막혀있습니다. 그리고, 세면대 물이 너무 약하게 나오네요. 여긴 무인운영하는 곳이라 물어볼 곳도 마땅치 않습니다.

When I enter the property, the smell in the room was choking me. I could not open the window or that mental thing in the window. Inside was clean but the smell was terrible. It's very far from the train station and the room was all the way from 4th floor or 5th floor without a lift. Very inconvenient for me , especially if you have a heavy luggage . I left after 20 mins in this room, I wasn't happy at all. I emailed Expedia about my experience for this property. I check in to another property which i was satisfied.

Great Location, many good restaurants around, Coop Next Door.

Ameisenstrasse bereits außen am Haus sichtbar, im Zimner dann auch überall Ameisen. Toilettentür schwer beschädigt, Waschbecken Abfluss im Bad läuft nicht ab. TV funktionierte nicht. Fernbedienung vermutlich defekt. Hatte das Appartment 36

Manque de clarté dans les explications pour accéder à l'appartement. Store cassé pas possible de les lever. Petit velux sans store donc lumière sur le visage le matin. Par contre très propre fournitures lits linge extra. Environnement très calme et jolis points de vue depuis le velux.

Pretty noisy rooms and we felt unsafe but clean room and good location

It was good for a 1-night stay. Room and shower is very small, not like the pictures showed. But for the price you get what you pay for.
