Gute Unterkunft, 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum weg. Relativ wenige Deutsche Ferrnsehprogramme.

Close to the train station and restaurants downtown. Roman at the front desk was great in explaining dinner options

I stayed from Dec 12-15 in hotel Astoria Luzern. Hotel location is convenient, just a few min walk from Lucerne main station. Check-in was fast with no issue. I got a corner room on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and modern. Kudos to the cleaning lady who kept my room clean and super tidy every day. Unfortunately the bathroom in this room does not have a door, so it felt very cold every time I walked out of the shower. On Friday night there was a party in the hotel's bar on the top floor. The music was very loud I had trouble sleeping. So all in all it was a good stay with a few minus points.

In the center of Luzern, and located very close to Down Town Luzern. Easy to find and to unload the Car. I booked two Rooms. One for me and one for two family members. Room Service wIas outstanding. Clean and perfect with new towels. It couldn't have being better. Very nice Bathroom/Shower. However I had to store my Luggage open in the Bath Room, since I could barely walk around the bed. The furniture was nice but almost no shelfs and no drawers to store my clothes and/or luggage. Very annoying during a 6 day stay. The title of the Room is vastly over stated and misleading. Temperature in my room was too low. (it was very cold outside, but still) The room of my Daughter however had a reasonable size, but also practically now place (shelfs/drawers) to store clothes/luggage etc., especially for two guests. The Beds have nice firm mattresses the cushions however could be surely better. The staff was knowledgeable and showed interest to help. Very pleased. I was welcomed to stay and informed in a professional way about my options regarding parking the car in the Hotel Garage and usage of Public Transportation. If it wasn't for the Room Size and Storage capacity/capability it would've being almost perfect. Thank you. Phil

Excelente ubicación, buen servicio y cuartos apropiados.

Hotel was good but walls were extremely thin. We could hear road noise (not a busy main road) and outside chatter all evening. We could also hear other couples all night and bathroom pipes from other rooms.

Wir waren im Dezember 1 Nacht da und es war richtig kalt im Zimmer. Die Badsituation war auch nicht so super da man vom Bett aus aufs Klo schauen konnte und es auch nur eine Glastür gab.

Night clubs are on the roof. Weird place later at night and loud. People clubbing use the elevators and the elevators are trashed. Restaurants associated with hotel are also bland and very over priced. The little Vietnamese place on the backside of the hotel is better then “Mekong”.

Front desk staff were the least helpful of anywhere , and that's saying a lot since I have traveled to a lot of remote places in the world.

We did a room upgrade, and even with the upgrade, the room was super basic. It’s two twin bed, so if you and your couple sleep together, you one of you will fall in the middle because the beds will slide away. Very noisy too.

Very cozy room and loved the location

Staying here is not worth it. Need higher tier room to have coffee maker, escalator is out of service, hallway in my floor smells like old carpet, third bed is made of rock and to top it all...the thumping music(noise) from the roof top bar until 3am. Have a good rest.

Beautiful and staff was lovely

the lobby of the hotel and the restaurant are very nice but our room was a bit out-dated. plenty of dining and shopping options near by. walking distance to train station.

Close to transportaion

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is close to the train station and walkable to the old town and Lion Monument. The room was very comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was fine. Compared to other places I stayed in Switzerland, it did not offer the same variety and had fewer options, but what was offered was good. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. I would definitely consider staying here again if I ever make it back to Lucerne.
