Very good reception service. conveniently located for market shopping, business and also for connection to both the port and airport.

Everything is wonderful except the location. The staff is overly helpful. Wifi worked well. Restaurant is good. Clean. Comfortable.

Hong Kong Hotel is really great value! We enjoyed our few days stay in Dar and we're glad to have picked this hotel located downtown over options in the pricey Oyster Bay Area. The location wasn't the perfect base for exploring the city. It's across from a bustling market that is so much fun and literally across from a well guarded Bank. The 10th floor cafe offered great views and the food that we had was decent. The bed was really comfortable and so were the linens. It's overall a clean place, which was nice. We booked the budget room and the bathroom outside the room was just fine only steps away. My only area for improvement would be that the washroom, although detached, is still private- however, I didn't really care to leave our toiletries in there since the bathroom does not have a keycard or outside not lock meaning it was only secure if you were inside it. Not a problem if you have a carrying case which is likely if you've come by plane. We overall enjoyed the stay and may come back on our way back from Zanzibar if we get the opportunity.
