My Blue Hotel

O primeiro quarto cheirava mofo, então nos trocaram… o quarto era confortável! Café da manhã excelente e menu de almoço e jantar com poucas opções! Toalhas de praia em pessimo estado (furadas). Hotel frente ao mar, com uma praia lindíssima, ótima para crianças! Equipe do hotel atenciosa!

I felt that my room and myself were both neglected. We checked in on the 31st, and although we informed the reception desk that the phone in our room was without service, this issue was not resolved until 01/02. In order to use an American adapter outlet, a make shift power box was plugged in with exposed wires. The food was distasteful and the pools were dirty. The hotel has a significant amount of potential. However, the furniture is outdated. The staff attempted to be accommodating, but did not meet average expectations.

Also das war ein Tophotel , klein aber super organisiert.Mit allem drum und dran , super freundliches Personal.Sehr sauber.Und 2 Themenabenden in der Woche.Man merkt kaum die Ebbe und Flut da im Norden.Jederzeit wieder.

My Blue hotel is absolutely amazing, stuff is really friendly and helpful. Food was great. The all area, the plants and swimming pools nothing to complain about, really beautiful place.

L'aspetto accattivante è sicuramente vincente e il verde ben curato contribuisce a creare un bell'impatto. Spiaggia di sabbia bianca finissima stupenda. Camera ampia ma i mobili un po mal presi pur sembrando abbastanza recenti. Complessivamente molto soddisfatta

The staff was good and friendly but the property needs some serious work. The picture showed a room with a seating area by the sliding doors....I guess the furniture got old and they just removed it as the only place to sit in this resort was the bed. Not exactly more than a 2 star rating for that. The bathrooms need a real upgrade as there is mold and discoloured grout and caulking that is really nasty. Finally, it doesn't matter how long you stay, the first 2 bottles of water are free and then you must pay for water after this....never seen anything like that...for water??? Far from the 4 star they claim!

The Beach of the hotel is amazing, the general hotel design and pandsacpe is nice and has a character yet the hotel is out dated in terms of room furniture, outdoor and beach furniture. Most towels are over used and many of them are ripped! The chaise longues on beach you have to pay for to use which is very weird for me to see something like thing in a beach front resort like hotel! For the staff in general they are kind yet there is a level of slowleness thats a bit much for me! For example for no obvious reason the security guy at the gate stoped us of not less than 10 mins to allow us in for check in, with a massive lag in communication and a not caring attitude. And its the same everytime we drive back to the hotel. The location of the hotel is good in the area of Nungwi.

We honeymoon’ed at My Blue Hotel for 6 days and loved it! The hotel property is beautiful and clean. We chose the half board option, and really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. There are also several nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner that are walking distance. Furthermore, the staff were lovely. We had a smooth check in and check out experience and the cleaning staff left cute designs with towels and flowers on our bed for our honeymoon. The rooms were good - had everything you need including bug nets! Staff would also spray the room in the evening to keep bugs away which was greatly appreciated. The view of the beach was great and we didn’t have any issues getting a beach chair to sit on at any time of the day. Highly recommend staying at My Blue Hotel!

Booked based on great reviews on Hotels.com and SoMe. Was supposed to stay 6 nights, ended up checking out after 3 nights. 1. There was an extreme smell of mold throughout the entire room/bathroom. The mold was also very visible, the curtains, the walls and the shower. 2. The aircon was not working properly and I assume this is also why they have a mold problem. Humidity was extreme in the room and all our clothes and stuff ended up damp, and nothing (swim/beachwear) was close to drying. Due to the climate in Zanzibar I would say it’s very important that there is a functioning aircon with dehumidification function. 3. The room was dirty, especially around the bed, windows and shower. 4. On the bottom part of the window, there were no glass, only mosquito netting. Due to this, it was moist and very noisy in the room. We felt like we were sleeping in a tent on the street. We could hear everything happening outside and had trouble sleeping because of this. 5. The lady in the reception tried to make a problem out of us checking out later than 12:00, which is crazy as we had already paid for 6 nights, but wanted to leave after 3 nights. 6. Over all, in serious need of upgrade, but even small things like mosquito netting around the bed, sheets/linen and towels had holes. 7. Impossible to get sunbeds unless you wake up at 7 to put your towel down. Dirty pools and facilities. Very disappointed, we expected more from a 4 star hotel.

Très bel hôtel, avec ses piscines et l’accès direct à la plage, transat et serviette à disposition mais ils faut aller tôt pour en avoir un, trop de beach boy sur la plage qui veulent vous vendre des choses ou des excursions se qui gâche la beauté des plages. De belles animations et de bons repas le soir.

Location,clean,pools,beach,service,tv for fotball,sports. Everything was perfect apart from food was 6 of 10. Best tides also.

Beachfront , Men en smule overpriset for hva man fikk , Frokost buffet grei helt ok , Men vil ikke anbefale og ta all inclusive her da det er kort vei til andre resturanter . Vil ta ett annet hotell ved neste besøk til Zanzibar !

Great stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are very well kept and the pools are sparkling. Highly recommend staying at My Blue Hotel!

Nydelig sted, flotte omgivelser og strand. Litt dårlig vedlikeholdt. Veldig vennlig, blid og hyggelige ansatte.

The location and price are amazing. The food can be better. The hotel is more beautiful than the pictures. If a little renovations/upgrading of the rooms are done will match the 5 star resorts. Staff is incredible. Over roll, I will recommend this hotel for anyone.
