Islanda Hideaway Resort

The accomodations were great. However, it costs 900 baht for the resort's transportation to pick us up from the airport. It takes about 1 hour to get to the resort from the airport, which consists of a bus ride, ferry, and three wheel motorcycle ride. No night life on the island and the ferries stop running at 11pm. Very peaceful and serene. Not fun.

Ao chegarmos ficamos um pouco assustados pois o Resort fica numa ilha isolada, nao fica no centro de Krabi e não há nada nessa ilha além do resort. Ficar saindo da Ilha é caro pois precisa pagar por vários meios de transporte. Os passeios do Hotel são muito caros em relação aos demais da área, mas é muito difícil de fazer os passeios por fora por conta do trajeto para sair da Ilha. Também não foi possível comer em outros restaurantes além do Hotel. Os preços das refeições são um pouco caras para a Tailândia mas nada exagerado. Fora isso, a estadia foi excelente. Os funcionários são extremamente educados e bem treinados, o café da manhã é maravilhoso e o resort é extremamente limpo e bem cuidado. Sem fazer os passeios pode ser entediante ficar no hotel sem fazer nada, mas com os passeios a estadia foi muito agradável.

Como todo el mundo comenta, el resort es espectacular para descansar se un viaje lleno de vuelos, compras, excursiones... es un hotel oara descansar y disfrutar de la piscina, los bungalows, el servicio. Recomendable 100%!! A tener en cuenta que los precios del bar y comidas son mas altos que en la ciudad, donde hay mas competencia, pero se puede "soportar" el gasto extra.

As with everywhere we went in Thailand, the kindness and care of the staff was the most memorable part of our stay. This resort is an oasis away from the main tourist areas and so ideal for those need to relax or to use as a jumping off point for island tours, as we did.

Vælg dette hotel, hvis du vil opleve service i topklasse. Et hyggeligt hotel, langt væk fra alt. Ved lavvande kan det virke lidt kedeligt, men ved højvande er det super smukt. Det tager ca. 20 min. At komme fra hotellet til Krabi by med tuktuk og båd - tilgengæld er det det super nemt og det fungerer bare! Det er fantastisk at kunne høre bølgerne, når man ligger sig til at sove og vågne op til en udsigt over vandet. Der er dejlig stille og et skønt dyreliv - både på hotellet med flagermuse, ugler, frøer, fisk og meget andet, men også aber, geder, Buffalos. På denne lille ø får man lov at mærke det autentiske ø liv. Det fungerer super godt at booke ture gennem hotellet - du bliver hentet og afleveret med båd direkte til hotellet. Og igen, servicen var den bedste vi har oplevet på vores 3 ugers tur i Thailand. For ikke at tilføje, at de får frisk fisk i restauranten hver dag fra naboen, som er fisker.

The hotel staff were very helpful, especially with arranging transport to and from the island, which we appreciated. However, the location is very remote, and that’s also the downside—you’ll need to budget for frequent and often transportation. Additionally, the food and drinks at the hotel were pricey, which added to the overall cost of our stay. While the staff made an effort, the high expenses and isolated location are worth considering before booking.

Nous avons fait une excursion qui était top avec l’hôtel et ils ont organisé nos transferts aller et retour. Nous recommandons totalement!

Staff were amazing really looked after us all as a family. Tuk tuk available to book. Not near anything at all in the middle of nowhere with no shops. Need to pay 200baht via tuk tuk then 100baht to cross the water in day 200 after 7pm to get to krabi market's town which was amazing. Pool on site is lovely, few chairs need replacing. Breakfast is fantastic and good choices. Greeting to resort was the best ive ever had. Would revisit but only for a couple of days as its so remote.

We had an excellent stay! The property is beautiful, the staff is responsive and helpful and the room was clean, spacious and well designed. We'd definitely come back to stay here if we're in Krabi again! Thanks to everyone on the staff who helped us. Lots of love.

This stay is exactly as its name.. a hideaway. This hotel is ideal if you'd like a break for a few days and just want to chill with a nice view. Bonus points for being eco-friendly and contributing to the local community. You have to consider the additonal expected costs, however. I booked this hotel impulsively for one night without extensively reading the reviews. This hotel is in a very remote area with only locals and it is a mission to get there. The hotel will charge you about 1000-1200 bhat to arrange transportation from the airport, which includes taxi, long boat, and tuk tuk. We decided to get there ourselves, and it cost less than half of what they would've charged us. The locals will still overcharge you, however, since they know you don't have any other options. If you are planning on staying here, you should just account for this cost and pay it for the convience. Additionally, expect to pay more for food and drinks. Regarding the room, the main part is air conditioned and it cools down nicely. However, the bed was very hard. Since the connecting room to the kitchen area and the bathroom are open air, mosquitoes frequently get it. It would be nice if the bed had a mosquito net so we could open the balcony and not have to worry about chasing them out of the room after. The service was good and the staff were helpful.

This is our second visit to Islanda Hideaway after spending a week on Koh Lanta. Immediately we were welcomed by the staff with “welcome home” We knew what to expect at the resort as we were here a week ago - the friendliness and hospitality offered by all staff members is a real delight. And the food is just great - for dinner we had freshly caught red snapper! This is certainly a place to return to re charge our batteries! Many thanks to all staff members!!

A fabulous resort with friendly and polite staff- the cabins were very well furnished including kimonos and slippers. Beach towels available by the pool. We had a variety of choices for breakfast and as we stayed at the resort for lunch and dinner - this too had great choices. Our stay was too short so we never took any excursions that were available. Great place to stay!

Dear readers, we spent three nights at Islanda Hideaway Resort; it´s a lovely quiet secluded resort. You can explore the island on food or even better, rent a bicycle for free at the resort. The resort is far away from the busting centre of Krabi - a perfect place to slow down. Nevertheless, after a pleasant walk or ride (7 km) you can reach the centre with a slowly chugging ferry. However, nothing is missing at these spot. So it's well worth staying a few days, leaning back and getting pampered.

Utrolig venligt personale - og meget hjælpsomme. Dejlige huse - i en lidt speciel "rå" stil. Morgenmaden lidt kedelig - men øvrige måltider var lækre. Alting fungerede fint. Stedet er perfekt hvis man skal koble af men der sker ikke meget i området. Man kan ikke bade ved stranden - det synes jeg ikke havde fremgået tydeligt, da vi bookede. Men poolen var super lækker.
