Huoneemme oli merinäköalalla, altaan vieressä. Huone oli mukava samoin vuode. Tyynyt olivat ehkä hieman kuluneet jo. Huoneessa olisi voinut olla vaatteille joitakin hyllyjä tms. nyt oli vain hengarivaatteille paikka. Siivous toimi hyvin. Hotellin alue muutenkin meidän mieleen. Aurinkotuoleja oli riittävästi ja altaitakin useampi. Meri vielä ihan vieressä. Aamupala oli riittävä. Henkilökunta oli aivan mielettömän ystävällisiä.

Great little resort, perfect for just walking into the centre of Chaweng. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. We only ate the Thai food at lunch and dinner which was amazing. Would go back again.

Excellent hotel, lovely rooms, great pools. breakfast facing the beach is a lovely way to start the day. Staff are friendly and efficient. I have been coming to Samui for over 20 years, its a shame to see that a lot of beach hotels didn't survive Covid and lack of tourist, but this hotel which opened it doors just before is a real bacon of hope for the tourist industry in this wonderful country

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans la meilleure chambre de l’hôtel La Vida Samui (avec piscine privée et vue sur la mer). Si la chambre était convenable et la vue magnifique, nous sommes très loin d’un service digne d’un hôtel 4 étoiles, comme ils se revendiquent.
Certes, la piscine et la vue rattrapent un peu l’expérience, mais la piscine manque clairement de privacy, ce qui gâche l’intimité. Quant au personnel, il n’était pas du tout au niveau : accueil peu professionnel, services réduits au strict minimum.
Le point le plus décevant fut notre expérience du petit-déjeuner flottant, commandé deux jours à l’avance. Lorsqu’il nous a été apporté, sous une pluie battante, un technicien effectuait la maintenance de la piscine, à l’heure précise où nous avions demandé le service (en raison d’un vol à prendre ensuite). Le personnel n’a même pas jugé bon de reporter ou adapter la prestation, ce qui a ruiné l’expérience. De plus, le petit-déjeuner flottant nous a été facturé 1000BTH, alors que le petit-déjeuner était déjà inclus dans notre réservation. Je comprends qu’un supplément puisse être appliqué pour ce service, mais un tel montant semble excessif, surtout compte tenu des conditions dans lesquelles il nous a été servi.
En résumé, cet hôtel n’est pas à la hauteur de ses prétentions et encore moins de son classement supposé. La vue ne suffit pas à compenser un service si décevant. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

It is far enough away from the center of Chaweng to offer some peace, but close enough to walk into town easily. Rooms are very very small, but clean. Breakfast was good, pool area is nice. However, if you like to swim in the ocean, this beach is not the place for you. It is super shallow and rocky.

Cute boutique hotel with a couple of pools and on beautiful Chaweng beach. Convenient location.
My sea view suite was on first floor so it’s really pool view with slight sea view. Room was large. The pool gets noisy with families and children.
Checkin was total chaos taking over 40 min as there was one receptionist and a large family ahead.
Food was decent.
Also the hotel guests all put down towels on the beach chaises very early like 8am .
The hotel is convenient. Also a nice sunrise

Only stayed there for one night. Would recommend to go with a bungalow or villa if so stay there longer as the rooms are small. Nice place though, well taken care of, super friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and right on the beach. Overall a great value proposition.

Small, modern and well designed, We enjoyed that place more then we expected!
We especially appreciated it when we spent 2 more weeks in other two higher range hotels, and visited couple more while choosing next spot.
After our stay, we definitely would’ve choose LaVida over some other 5 star hotels on Samui where we ended up, too bad we didn’t book more nights in advance, willing to explore.
Located on one of the best beaches, hotel is small and easy to walk around, breakfast was excellent, where quality dominate quantity and caters to all tastes. Every room has Nespresso machines with good coffee and tea supply in the room, strong internet connection, and SmartTv. Kayaks and paddle boards at the beach.
I did mention it, because these basic commodities were still non-present in some other 5* hotels, that was a surprise.
The rooms are on smaller range but very functional. Soundproof is not the best, so you might hear some very noisy neighbours, but it didn’t bother us too much.
It is a very quiet hotel but still kind of close to the party-sector of Samui when you go left while exiting hotel, and classier areas are to your right while exiting.
Staff is very nice and professional.
Nice & clean massage place on the right from the exit.

Excellent new resort in Samui. Well located few blocks from where the Chaweng action starts but still very quiet and private. Well appointed room with very comfortable bed. Nespresso machine in the room. They provide quality beach towels every day in the room with two handy beach bags. The grounds are amazing. Beautiful pool and lounge chairs, both by the pool and at the beach. The ground keeping staff does a great job of keeping everything pristine (including the beach). Plenty of lounge chairs, no need to fight for one or "reserve" like in other resorts. Paddle boards and kayaks available for guests at no extra cost. The staff is delightful and always service with a smile. Breakfast very complete with egg station and espresso coffee machine. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself is very nice. Great location. Quiet. My only issue was with the service. Our room smelled strongly of sewage. We spoke to the front desk. Both very nice ladies but it was clear they didn’t want to change our room. Said they would have the housekeeper do something to help. Ok fine. We left for the day and coming back it was fine for a bit then later in the night it came back again. With 1 night left we figured we’d just deal with it. Walking around at night, it seemed to be that whole area having a strong sewage smell. We get it. Islands have these issues sometimes.
The bartender - was in some kind of bad mood. My partner asked for a menu and she gave this nasty face as though it was difficult to hand over a menu. Whatever. Maybe she had a bad day.
Lastly, the day we check out I asked if they could call a taxi for us. Instead of saying yes, we were told to walk a little out and find on our own. What? The hotel is in a quiet area so finding a taxi that early is a bit difficult. I politely asked again do you have a number I can call then. Finally she said ok I can call one. So why not call one when I initially asked? Just these small things turned me off to this hotel. We don’t ask for much and always tipped our server and even the rude bartender. Otherwise the grounds were very nice and relaxing.

2度目のサムイ旅行でした。私たちは3泊しました。
ホテルスタッフの対応は素晴らしく、部屋も綺麗でした。
プールも綺麗で、ビーチではカヤックが無料でレンタルでき楽しめました。隣接するマッサージ店がランドリーサービスもやっているので、便利でした。
1点だけ気になったのは、朝食のブッフェサラダの具材のほぼ全てにコバエがたかっており、食べる気になれませんでした。
近くに置いてあったサーモンにはネットがかけられていたので、同様にラップかネットをかけた方がよいと思います。
