My wife, 2 kids and I stayed for 3 nights at Papai and we enjoyed every moment. The resort is very new, villas were beautiful and well-equipped. The swimming pool is well-maintained and very clean. It located away from the city and it is surrounded by greenery. The area is quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and spacious. James and his wife and staff were super helpful and friendly. We arrived late at 21:00, they prepared dinner for us. James is a good guide, he recommended many good places for us to visit. Also, he provided driving service to us. The Thai food offered by the restaurant is delicious. The breakfast is good and the ingredients are so fresh. The locally-grown mangoes are the must-try food, my son said the mango is “Miss Chiang Mai”! We strongly believed that Papai Country Lodge is one on the best hotel in Chiang Mai! We will definitely come again!!

This place is so pretty. The owners are first class and so kind. We arrived late at 7:30 for check in. We hadn't eaten. Khun James, the owner, was waiting to check us in. The restaurant normally closes at 8 but him and his wife, both international chefs, kept it open until 9 so we could enjoy a late dinner, along with a very nice Chilean Cabernet. Our stay was too short, but perfect otherwise. The resort has a very nice pool too which sadly I did not use due to pressing time commitments we had.

1. Very kind staffs The staffs are very kind. Informed me everything for sight seeing, call song-thaw or taxi. Took me to the local market. I checked in very late because of flight delay, but the check-in procedure was very smooth. And i asked pick-up service, they sent me decent and reliable driver. He was also very kind. All the staffs smiled all the time. And they took me to the song-thaw driver so that i could reach to the greenbus station for next destination. 2. Clear and comfortable room The room looked exactly the same as the picture here. Totally satisfied. And the pool was clean. I could enjoy swiming. 3. 'Country' lodge It is located in suburban. Very quiet, cozy and peaceful. But the thing is that i visited here alone. It would be much greater if i visited with my family or friends. If you rent a car or take song-thaw with other people, you can save much money. 4. Nice view! I think it's the strongest point of this place. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful forest. You can definitely beathe fresh air, appreciate much green leaves. I dont think you can find a place like this at this cheap price in the city. If you need to releave your stress, need much relax then it's the place you are looking for. 5. Great breakfast. I could enjoy the fresh meal. Fruits, Thai stir-fried rice, bread, coffee and juice etc. Maybe there is sth i forgot mention. But i really enjoyed the stay, i already recommend this place to my friends.

Located away from the city, the resort provides a peaceful getaway surrounded by 360 degrees of nature and greenery. Service was exemplary, resort owner upgraded my villa free of charge because I had requested for a villa with a mountain-view (which was a very kind gesture) and went out of their way to arrange for a surprise birthday celebration for my girlfriend. The owner and his family made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable, providing driving services and even preparing our choice of breakfast as well! I will strongly recommend this resort!

My wife, 2 kids and I stayed for 3 nights at Papai and we enjoyed every moment. The resort is very new, villas were beautiful and well-equipped. The swimming pool is well-maintained and very clean. It located away from the city and it is surrounded by greenery. The area is quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and spacious. James and his wife and staff were super helpful and friendly. We arrived late at 21:00, they prepared dinner for us. James is a good guide, he recommended many good places for us to visit. Also, he provided driving service to us. The Thai food offered by the restaurant is delicious. The breakfast is good and the ingredients are so fresh. The locally-grown mangoes are the must-try food, my son said the mango is “Miss Chiang Mai”! We strongly believed that Papai Country Lodge is one on the best hotel in Chiang Mai! We will definitely come again!!

This place is so pretty. The owners are first class and so kind. We arrived late at 7:30 for check in. We hadn't eaten. Khun James, the owner, was waiting to check us in. The restaurant normally closes at 8 but him and his wife, both international chefs, kept it open until 9 so we could enjoy a late dinner, along with a very nice Chilean Cabernet. Our stay was too short, but perfect otherwise. The resort has a very nice pool too which sadly I did not use due to pressing time commitments we had.

1. Very kind staffs The staffs are very kind. Informed me everything for sight seeing, call song-thaw or taxi. Took me to the local market. I checked in very late because of flight delay, but the check-in procedure was very smooth. And i asked pick-up service, they sent me decent and reliable driver. He was also very kind. All the staffs smiled all the time. And they took me to the song-thaw driver so that i could reach to the greenbus station for next destination. 2. Clear and comfortable room The room looked exactly the same as the picture here. Totally satisfied. And the pool was clean. I could enjoy swiming. 3. 'Country' lodge It is located in suburban. Very quiet, cozy and peaceful. But the thing is that i visited here alone. It would be much greater if i visited with my family or friends. If you rent a car or take song-thaw with other people, you can save much money. 4. Nice view! I think it's the strongest point of this place. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful forest. You can definitely beathe fresh air, appreciate much green leaves. I dont think you can find a place like this at this cheap price in the city. If you need to releave your stress, need much relax then it's the place you are looking for. 5. Great breakfast. I could enjoy the fresh meal. Fruits, Thai stir-fried rice, bread, coffee and juice etc. Maybe there is sth i forgot mention. But i really enjoyed the stay, i already recommend this place to my friends.
