L'ambientazione stupenda e' il coronamento di questo resort in cui chi viene sposa una idea green di turismo. Attenzione a volerlo per scelta: l'energia elettrica serve solo a luci e ventilatore, non c'e' acqua calda, frigo, aria condizionata, asciugacapelli, tv. Le pulizie sono a richiesta. Molti ripidi gradini portano ai bungalow in legno e bamboo spartani immersi nella jungla e affacciati sul mare. A volte le scimmiette vengono a far compagnia. Tutto il personale e' cortese e attento. La colazione e' buona e te' e caffe' disponibili tutto il giorno. Chi viene qui non lo faccia per caso.

This stay was definitely a mixed bag, I think I was possibly sold on the image of the huts overlooking the sea which was still lovely in person. However a few practicalities like no air conditioning and other comforts I would say this was just an alright stay. I think after so long travelling it maybe just wasn’t our cup of tea but a perfectly reasonable stay if you find the idea of an eco resort appealing and can handle the heat better than me! Would still recommend but there are plenty of resorts around with better facilities for similar prices

Railay Garden View Resort is eco-friendly, which was fine with us. There's no hot water, fridge or A/C, but they weren't missed. Bottles of water are supplied, and you can refill them anytime at reception. Situated on the eastern side of the bay at the edge of 'town', it was quiet and convenient. Navigating the 96 steps to our bungalow was a workout, but you're rewarded with exceptional views. Since we were there in the low season, only tea & toast was available via self-serve for breakfast. This was a sufficient start for the 2 of us, then we'd get a snack at one of the many cafes below. We enjoyed the simplicity of our stay here and would certainly return.

Das Hotel liegt am ruhigen Teil der Halbinsel. Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig und schnell zu erreichen, die Strände nach ca 10-15 Minuten. Die Bungalows haben je nach Kategorie einen wunderbaren Meerblick oder auf die begrünte Anlage. Wir haben uns super erholt und würden es jederzeit wieder für einen Aufenthalt wählen. Wer keinen großen Luxus benötigt und eine authentische Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

What a beautiful place! It was easy to walk to from the boat. The stairs are a good mini-workout, and the view is stunning. The first evening we were there a group of monkeys scampered across our roof and up onto the bungalow next door where they posed for pictures before disappearing. One tip: bring earplugs for the boat engines. Shower was great, bed was comfortable, and our favourite thing was to sit on the front patio soaking up the view. We were also surprised to get breakfast included with our stay. Highly recommend.

This hotel is excellent value for money. The views are spectacular and we loved the hike up the hill to our little house. Breakfast was very good and had a lot choices for hot food.

This was a very nice and private resort. There were party areas of the island within walking distance, but this resort is close to that yet also far enough away that it is quiet. Our rooms were clean and we had a couple lizards visit us in the bathroom...they were more scared of us than us of them. A fresh warm breakfast is served daily, which is convenient as well.

It was ok if you don’t mind the basics and no air conditioning. The many flights of stairs to get to the location is pretty crazy, so just be aware of that (it’s a good workout).

Peneste hotellet jeg noen gang har vært på! Var som å være i en drøm! 10/10!! Hadde apekatter og andre eksotiske dyr rundt bungalow. Peneste utsikten ned til havet! Alt var veldig pent og eksotisk, minte meg om Bikini Bottom fra Svampebob firkant!

L'ambientazione stupenda e' il coronamento di questo resort in cui chi viene sposa una idea green di turismo. Attenzione a volerlo per scelta: l'energia elettrica serve solo a luci e ventilatore, non c'e' acqua calda, frigo, aria condizionata, asciugacapelli, tv. Le pulizie sono a richiesta. Molti ripidi gradini portano ai bungalow in legno e bamboo spartani immersi nella jungla e affacciati sul mare. A volte le scimmiette vengono a far compagnia. Tutto il personale e' cortese e attento. La colazione e' buona e te' e caffe' disponibili tutto il giorno. Chi viene qui non lo faccia per caso.

Very friendly staff, comfy beds and tidy hotel. View is amazing! One of the glasses in our room had a lipstick mark but otherwise everything appeared very clean and we had a great stay.

This stay was definitely a mixed bag, I think I was possibly sold on the image of the huts overlooking the sea which was still lovely in person. However a few practicalities like no air conditioning and other comforts I would say this was just an alright stay. I think after so long travelling it maybe just wasn’t our cup of tea but a perfectly reasonable stay if you find the idea of an eco resort appealing and can handle the heat better than me! Would still recommend but there are plenty of resorts around with better facilities for similar prices

Railay Garden View Resort is eco-friendly, which was fine with us. There's no hot water, fridge or A/C, but they weren't missed. Bottles of water are supplied, and you can refill them anytime at reception. Situated on the eastern side of the bay at the edge of 'town', it was quiet and convenient. Navigating the 96 steps to our bungalow was a workout, but you're rewarded with exceptional views. Since we were there in the low season, only tea & toast was available via self-serve for breakfast. This was a sufficient start for the 2 of us, then we'd get a snack at one of the many cafes below. We enjoyed the simplicity of our stay here and would certainly return.

Das Hotel liegt am ruhigen Teil der Halbinsel. Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig und schnell zu erreichen, die Strände nach ca 10-15 Minuten. Die Bungalows haben je nach Kategorie einen wunderbaren Meerblick oder auf die begrünte Anlage. Wir haben uns super erholt und würden es jederzeit wieder für einen Aufenthalt wählen. Wer keinen großen Luxus benötigt und eine authentische Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

What a beautiful place! It was easy to walk to from the boat. The stairs are a good mini-workout, and the view is stunning. The first evening we were there a group of monkeys scampered across our roof and up onto the bungalow next door where they posed for pictures before disappearing. One tip: bring earplugs for the boat engines. Shower was great, bed was comfortable, and our favourite thing was to sit on the front patio soaking up the view. We were also surprised to get breakfast included with our stay. Highly recommend.
