The room is very big and clean. We really liked the pool area, and the cocktails at the bar. the staff is very friendly and helpful, and overall this is a great value for the money.

We really enjoyed our stay, the pool is beautiful, good food , and the staff is very lovely! Much recommended.

Stunning sea view from the balcony, the room is big and clean with a very comfy bed. The staff is lovely and professional, and of course the best party of this place is the giant infinity pool, great vibes at the pool area and good cocktails.

Great value for the money, the property is a beach front in a quite peaceful area of Koh Phangan. Very good service and delicious food.

This was by far our best stay in Thailand this holiday! The hotel is a beach front with a stunning view and amazing sunsets. The room was very clean, big and comfy with a nice balcony with a sea view. The staff is very helpful and friendly and they helped us with everything we needed. much recommended, we will definitely come back there.

Breakfast was cold every morning and the coffee was muddy and cold as well. We asked for arm food and staff was rude. Pool was dirty and so was the beach. The room did not look anything like the pictures and we had a view of a dirty walkway and partial ocean view. The area was convenient to where we wanted to be but would never stay here again. It is run down and you can tell it is going out of business soon.

During my trip to Thailand, my stay at Sunset Beach hotel was an easy favourite. The room was a great size and the sea view from the balcony was lovely to wake up to as well as for watching the sunset in the evening. The bed was comfortable and I slept well there despite my noisy neighbours. The breakfast was simple but tasty and included a good variety of fruit and more filling food. I looked forward to eating it every morning during my stay. The staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere within the hotel. They were very accommodating and happy to provide their recommendations e.g for transport and laundry services. Location wise the hotel is near plenty of restaurants and about a 20minute walk to Haad Rin beach. Just be mindful that outside of the full moon party, Haad rin is a quiet area with not that much going on. The only minor negative points I would mention is the finishing within the room could be tidier, e.g there were cracks in some of the walls. I sometimes found that the floor could’ve been cleaner as you can feel bits on your feet when walking around. Lastly, for the breakfast, I believe that some parts that were in the silver trays are supposed to be hot and they were always cold so this might be something to look into. Overall, I’d recommend Sunset Beach to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant stay in Haad Rin!

I stayed here for four nights. I chose the east side of Haad rin so I was walking distance from the full moon party and I’m glad I picked this hotel, close enough to walk to the busy part but far enough to not hear a thing. I didn’t use any of the pool or food facilities as I was out and about a lot, but room was cleaned perfectly everytime I left the sign on the door. Sea view was pretty, loads of parking for people to park their scooters!
