This is a timeshare not a hotel and as such most of the amenities were not available due to the time of year. they only serve breakfast in the restaurant then it is bar snacks. As not many visitors the bar food is not that good a quality The bar is only open until 21:00. This site is also no near to any other food outlets. Although the resort was only 10% full the apartments offered was on the third floor and there was no availability of a late checkout. The staff were very friendly but are unable to be that helpful. The apartments internally are in good condition but there door lock are tatty and do not work that well i had to relace my door key twice. Also although it quotes Wi-Fi in the room it was only really available in the lobby and poor connection in the bar area.

I spent a whole 4 nights WITH THE SAME BED SHEETS. They were supposed to be cleaned and changed daily, but that NEVER happened. The towels were left in a GARBAGE BAG at my door. Just outright terrible service. The WIFI was never stable, which made working close to impossible. Then one morning my girlfriend wanted some tea. Usually you would think there would be some lying around right? Guess again.....I had to walk downstairs at 6 IN THE MORNING to get it. The gentleman that helped me (who was really nice by the way) was dumfounded that it wasn't left there. Overall, TERRIBLE experience and I WON'T be coming back there.

Property was clean and staff was great. The resort needs new ownership with deep pockets to renovate and turn it into the place people want to stay and dine at. The beach is nice. The bar needs some updating and should allow you to charge your drinks to your room. Pool is cloudy. There needs to be a better breakfast service than the joke of a cafe they have.

Safe

We really enjoyed our stay with the three kids. Beaches were clean the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had to leave a day early because of the hurricane approaching. Before we left they said they would refund us the night which we weren’t even expecting. We will definitely be back to visit.

I stayed at Island Seas for an entire week and I can say that it will definitely not be my last. The staff was very friendly. It was absolutely a safe haven. All the great reviews about this place was accurate. The property is amazing. I would positively recommend Island Seas Resort for your stay in Grand Bahama!!!

The property was clean, staff was accommodating. most amenities were provided but the Wi-Fi connection was poor. The connection only worked in the lobby.

Great

We had a nice time but the staff at the front desk when we arrived did not share any important information with us-towels, restaurants, transportation, etc. - We had to figure everything out on our own and sometimes it was just too late. She seemed to lack any motivation. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning crew was great. Always attentive when we needed anything. The price of food and drinks was ridiculous and the fact that there is no shuttle to the grocery store and that the convenience store was closed was also very disappointing. I feel like we as tourists are being taken advantage of. I had to pay $56 US plus tip to go to the grocery store with Lewis (taxi). He insisted on waiting and said that was the only way. I refused to use him again and made sure everyone we met was aware of the outrageous prices of transportation. It's quite a shame as the beach here is lovely. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning.

Easy access

The property itself is great! Right on the a private beach, beautiful pool, very nice. The staff was not very attentive, or friendly. The bar drinks were weak, small and pricey. The rooms were great, very spacious, could use some updating, but overall were nice. Housekeeping checked in daily for trash and fresh towels. I would recommend this hotel, however, do not expect a resort. It's a beautiful location, but not much to do other than beach and pool. We rented a car and used it every day to do other activities or go to restaurants or shopping.

Beautiful property. It seems to be having some issues right now, but the staff was great and the property again, is beautiful! We were told the coffee shop was "closed until further notice, and the planned/scheduled activities were nonexistent. We still enjoyed our stay. The condo was huge and a great value to be right on the beach.

This is more like a motel with resort in the name. At one point years ago I am sure this property was beautiful. Upon arrival our room was not ready until after 4. Normally I understand that because check in is at 4. The place was a ghost town. It was us and another guest that was there the entire 3 nights. Why not be prepared and have the room la ready. Our room, the AC didn’t work properly, the sliding door did not close properly and was never on the track, our view was of a pile of trash. We reserved a queen and it was a full. They said they had no 2 bed room available. Large property with no guests-I am sure they had something. The housekeeper came and took our towels said she would be back with clean ones, came back and had to go find someone to get us towels. Hottub water was so low, the water was past the jets. Beach chairs were broken, garbage on the beach-like lots of broken glass. The house keeper came into our room the next day, used the toilet (lid was up we had no guys on the trip) and didn’t do anything else. The front door didn’t fully lock. When I talked to staff their attitude was what do you want me to do. I went on vacation to relax not track down towers, maintenance and have to pay to go use a normal resort’s accommodations. This was an experience trip. I am disappointed and will not return. I have staff and service a few extra stars based on the bartender at the outside bar super sweet and friendly and gave us great recommendations.
