We really enjoyed our stay. The location was top-notch. We were able to walk to events and awesome restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, our food and service at ALK was great!

Absolutely amazing stay at arlo. From the second i arrival service was exceptional! I srrived at 11am intending to just drop my bags off til check in. They offered early check in and had me in my beautiful room in no time. The room had a great view, the restaurant downstairs was awesome. I highly recommend

The staff were so nice and welcoming at reception, at the bar and housekeeping. Great vibe and we loved our stay.
They recognized me as an Expedia VIP and made a big deal out of it. I felt like a celebrity. Amazing!

They offered room upgrade I just didn’t need it cause I wanted 2 beds. Staff was so so nice. The bar was great and service excellent. Super convenient. Amazing location even in wintry Chicago weather. It was an awesome time:

Liked the hotel very much. Hate that they charge an "Urban Fee," a non-negotiable excess expense designed to lower the nightly cost and replacing it with a fee for goods/services that one either cares not for (Divvy bike discount, discount at Ice Cream Museum) or that should be standard (wifi, a bottle of water). It's cheesy little scam and the fact that many hotels do it, makes it no more appropriate.
But it is a legit nice hotel.

It was close to Millennium Park and a bunch of shops and restaurants. Hotel was great and the staff was courteous.
My only complaint was that the bathroom doors were sliding doors that didn't latch, and they would frequently drift open, so if you are sharing a room with someone who isn't your SO, it's a little uncomfortable.

There were fees that seemed unnecessary. One being the “urban fee” which includes a $15 dollar credit for the restaurant downstairs and 2 free waters each day. You also are paying for the internet. Yet the credit you can only use after 3pm and we had to repeatedly ask them for the water. They only replaced our towels 1 of the 3 days we were there. In addition, the urban fee covered on demand access but not the $20 movies on it. A $400 3 day stay turned into nearly $600 fast! Not worth it! The hotel did not even have any amenities besides the expensive restaurant in the small lobby.

Great hotel in a great location! We enjoyed our stay at Arlo Chicago. I have nothing bad to say. Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable beds and easy to get to. We would definitely stay again!

This is the second time we've stayed here and it's been a great experience both times. Excellent location in walking distance from the Bean, Chicago Art Institute, and many restaurants. The hotel staff were very accommodating. The room was great for our family of four. Would highly recommend.

Location and staff are perfection! Anything we needed, including suggestions for parking, outings, eats—all delivered personably and enthusiastically. We were happy to tip front desk help on the way out as they unfailingly went above and beyond. Great showers, fine beds, clean everything. Outside and inside noises (people talking etc) were easily heard, but totally expected since it’s the city.

I absolutely loved the design and decor. This is a clean and fresh space that is absolutely comfortable in every corner as well as sustainability friendly! It's my new favorite Chicago hotel and I will not hesitate to recommend to all my friend and family. All around friendly and accommodating from check in, to dining, to checkout. Wonderful experience!
