I can't recommend this place. I stayed here four consecutive nights. The pillows are small and square, not rectangular so if you want comfort for your neck and head, this isn't the place. The hallway outside my room smelled pretty consistently of someone cooking Asian food. Fortunately the smell didn't seep into my room. When walking past a few rooms, I was barked at by dogs behind their doors. I didn't ask for the room to be freshened the first two nights, leaving my "still sleeping" sign on the door. I removed it the following two days as I went into Madison, yet no one came by to remove my trash, or anything. Service did come by my room once, knocking on my door at 8 a.m. on my check-out day. Checkout is at 11, so obviously the front desk and service aren't communicating. I didn't see any roaches as others stated, or hair in the hot tub (I think they might have seen some sand at the bottom). Good price, but the place was almost a ghost town except for the dogs and the few people staying here. I can see why.

It seems there was someone living in the room next to us and smoking inside. Cigarette smoke and pot smoke alternated and came into our room even with the door closed. It really ruined the night. Luckily we had to leave early for a flight. The front desk staff and the shuttle driver were very nice.

The airport shuttle and free long term parking were wonderful! The in room TV could use an upgrade.

So I booked through Expedia and when I got to the hotel I used my card to put 50.00 for incidentals and they charged me240.00 and still haven't returned me my money yet and I already checked out

This is my go to when i just need time away, the hot tub and pool are nice and a good book it’s perfect

Closed breakfast 30 min early according to guest services book in room. We chose motel due to breakfast included. Desk did not have any customer service when time pointed out to them. Made to feel like we were doing something wrong. Not good.

It was terrible. They fraudulently charged me for two nights when I had already paid for the room on hotels.com. they asked for a card to hold 50.00 for incidentals and when I was already frustrated because of a unreturned 50$ hold I was skeptical about it but in the end swiped my card. Additional 108.00 +50+50. When confronted about the overcharge the front desk Baymont West representative on duty refused to look into the billing and said I'm done. I said it's fraud I'ma call the police. Well she called when I was calling my spouse for added information..Officers Middleton WI. Backed her up said she could do what she wanted. Because of the 200 overcharge I was unable to pick up my rental at 9 am and am still stranded in the miserable snow instead of back on campus. Next afternoon we were refunded 58.00 but still haven't received all three 50+ holds and the room was never used because after officer's defending a local against us a threatening me of legal issues for talking Bout the fraud. Neither felt comfortable staying there. It was dirty. TV was poop. And the place stunk like sewage was spilled down the halls.

Clean quiet and peaceful. Best place for the City of Madison.

They have roaches and bed bugs !

The staff were friendly but over all the hotel is worn down and dingy the whole place stunk like marajuana smoke

Great stop on our way east. Evening staff were nice enough grab our food delivery as we were coming in late!

Property certainly gives bang for the buck! A two night stay at short notice we did not want to spend too much. Clean beds and bathrooms, breakfast choices were good and varied! however yoghurt in refrigerator was bad. Also FrenchToast (cooked in egg) was kept outside at room temp along with regular bread slices/ bagels. Also there is a weird "poopy" smell when you first enter f facility. Fitness room equipment was rusted, albeit working and very noisy. I was afraid one of them might break while using so we opted to go to Planet Fitness instead the next day. Did not use the pool. Check in and out were very quick. Overall good value for the price paid!

Bathroom sink drain pull handle not working at check in but man at desk got it repaired in 10 minutes; room was clean & bed was comfortable

Tv did not work very well. The bathroom looked like there was poop on the walls.

My stay was supposed to be at the Baymont Inn West. Upon arrival, they notified me that they had overbooked and they didn’t have a room for me. They did transfer me to the comfort Inn about a mile away and honored the rate I had purchased through the Baymont.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Baymont. The only small thing I would say was a no for me was. I was heading out for the night and I asked for towels to be taken to my room. The guy was nice and gave me the face towels right away, but for the body towels he left them on the floor in front of my door instead of putting them in the room, which I didn’t like because they were clean towels just sitting on the ground. Besides that my stay was really enjoyable.

Super comfortable bed, noon check out, breakfast- my favorite thing though is that the heater/AC has an option to have the fan running constantly - great white noise and no on and off all night like other hotels
