Beautiful indide

Hotel in a commercial area, right on the highway.

Where to even start? The keys only worked for a couple hours at a time, so I had to go down to their desk multiple times a day. Pool is closed, and peeling paint, so don’t count on that. There’s a cafe attached to the hotel, I tried calling, like the hotel menu suggests. Never got an answer. Changed rooms halfway through my stay, because they couldn’t get the cable, the refrigerator or the microwave to work in the first room. Toilet in the second room was full of rust stains, and blew a rusted line while I was in the shower. I took a walk outside while I was on a call, and saw the mounds of trash and broken glass out back. I was blessed with life entertainment, in the form of a neighboring room, where the inhabitant like to end their day with a shouting match about how they were going to kill someone. I’m a fan of best westerns for a consistent place to stay while I travel for work, but after THIS hotel, I’ll probably never stay in one that I haven’t been to before.

Casual but elegant, especially for the small town it is located in. Great place to hang out and enjoy company.

The Best Western Pecos Inn staff are great. The check in team and housekeeping staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel needs some TLC. The pool is closed and looks like it is in horrible shape. The gym is dirty and most the machines were not usable. The entrance door on southeast side of the hotel did not close and was propped open each time I entered. Did not make me feel comfortable as a single traveler. The carpet in my room was ripped and the shower knobs fell off. I had a hard time getting the hot water to function - it was either burning or cold. The air conditioner system looks like it was hit by a hammer and the window was glued shut. It is supposed to be a smoke free hotel but the smell of cigarette smoke was strong and due to the backdoor being opened the smell came down the hallway and into the room. The chair near the window was in bad shape and the back leg was falling off. My stay was fine but I will not be staying at this property again. It needs some tender loving care unless charging a cheaper price is what the owners are looking for but the cheaper price shows in the room and facilities.

Picked this specific hotel for the pool and hot tub. Pool has been closed for months, should be advertised or acknowledged before paying for hotel. Outside doors do not lock, rooms are big, empolyees are kind. Should not be rated 8 definitely below 6.

Dirty room, carpet ripped, coffee is dirt water, pool drained, hot tub also out of service, free breakfast was limited and very slow service. Restaurant floor sticky. Bathroom was in need of repairs. Back door did not lock open all night.

In town for a family reunion. Have stayed at this hotel many times in the past for the same purpose. Always a welcoming setting! The restaurant name has changed since I was here last. The pool and hot tub are closed for maintenance but it does not affect us this trip. It’s convenient and has many lounging areas for small gatherings.

The hotel staff and management are incredibly friendly and efficient. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and rooms were very comfortable and is a positive 10/10. The sleep quality was excellent, and the mattresses felt like sleeping at home. I highly recommend anyone looking for quality hotel here in Artesia.

Best western was very clean and organized. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

I rented because the hot tub, but It was colder than the pool and the breakfast was so poor. Room was clean.

Ac in building was down, flooding in the building, smelled dingy and like mildew. The pool was shut down and no one hardly at front desk for service.

The All Star's booked at this Hotel for the pool. Pool was closed due to cleaning and has not been reopened this is what the kids look forward to. Not cool makes you wonder if they closed it on purpose due to all the kids in the hotel. The air conditioning was not working in the lobby and hallways, so it was very hot

Hotel is nice, clean, friendly. I have stayed there several times. Breakfast has been great every time I've stayed. On this visit, the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance, from the looks of things it may be down for a while. The kids were really bummed out about that. If the pool is important, probably best to inquire if it's open or not before booking.

Staff was friendly and the food was good.

Check in was easy and quick. Super friendly.
