The room was dirty and very smelly.

The room did not come with everything that was promised. Also when my partner went down to ask about getting use of the pool the receptionist was not very nice to him. Room was below standard. I hope that I get my security deposit back as we left room as we found it.

Looking for a cheap hotel around dirty old Hollywood go right ahead never knew how dirty Hollywood is when you start walking around this area but the bathroom definitely needs remodeling.

Room smelled of pee, holes in the screens, doors and shutters looked like someone had to forcibly evicted. Weird stain in the bathtub. Room could’ve used a paint job. But you get what you pay for.

No wash clothes, broken door lock, no phone communications to front desk. Room very clean.

The hotel said they have parking based on availability but it’s not quite true if you see an empty spot you can’t park there, I was told by the front desk male when I tried checking in around 11:30pm after coming off a long flight that I should’ve called to secure a space even though I see a parking spot it’s not available I should park on the Street by a meter and I have to get up by 7am to move the vehicle or pay the meter. I had to drive off property and park on the 1st block away from the hotel at which is 1/2 way dark with a lots of drugs addict walking around, taking off their clothes and acting crazy. Luckily I asked him if it was okay for me to put my bags & purse in the room before I moved the vehicle. I took my phone only, hold it in my hand and I was ready to call 911 if any unforeseen circumstances should arise. THE ROOM HAD A BAD SMELL, white sheets & towels were dingy. Room 104 that I stayed in had a pipe leaking from the sink which is in the bedroom which led water to be running & slowly making a trail towards the bed I had to step over the water on the floor to go into the toilet and shower area. You don’t hear much noise but it’s basically a motel for a 1 night stand or people who is looking a place to live until they can do better. The pictures on here are deceiving. Don’t stay if you can afford better, it’s very close to everything on Hollywood Boulevard and that’s the reason I chose here not knowing it’s a Shack

Looking at the photos on Expedia and making a last minute decision to go to visit family in Hollywood we thought we found a deal. It wasn’t. We were checked in and then waited 20 minutes for the room to be ready. It had no shower curtain, no deadbolt and it had a smell. Thought we could make it work but after returning to the hotel after visiting family we couldn’t stay. Would not recommend.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! Horrible experience from check-in to check-out. The rooms and bathrooms were filthy and smelled awful. We were three guests but only received two towels. When we asked for more, the staff was extremely rude. The photos on the website are completely misleading. The bed was uncomfortable and housekeeping didn’t even clean the room once. The bathroom was disgusting, full of cobwebs, and flooded every time we took a shower. There are cheaper hotels in the same area that are far superior. ¡Aléjate de este hotel! Una experiencia terrible desde el check-in hasta el check-out. Las habitaciones y los baños estaban sucios y con mal olor. Éramos tres personas y solo nos dieron dos toallas. Al pedir más, nos trataron con mucha grosería. Las fotos del sitio web no coinciden con la realidad. La cama era incómoda y ni siquiera limpiaban la habitación. El baño estaba asqueroso, con telarañas, y se inundaba cada vez que nos duchábamos. En la zona hay hoteles más económicos y de mucha mejor calidad.

This hotel was a complete dump. I wish I looked at pictures and other reviews first. The only reason this isn’t 1 star all the way around is because the bed seemed clean, even though there were stains on the sheet. Everything was disgusting, worn down. There were holes in the walls, no bathroom exhaust fan—just a window with a huge broken screen, extremely thin walls where you could hear every other neighboring guest below and to the side of you, broken shutters so you had no privacy. The door weather stripping was old at the bottom, leaving a gap for noise, pest entry, and wind. There was black mold all around the shower and the water pressure was horrible. It’s like the never put a penny into the place. The rooms definitely do not look like the pictures the advertise. It wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it takes second place.

The bathroom towels were honestly disgusting. Aside from that I am OK with paying for a low budget location, but at least have some decent towel. The bed was a little rough, but like I said, the sheets were decent and I was on a budget.

This property is located exactly on Hollywood blvds vicinity ! Just walk in through walk of fame and chinese theatre and all the hollywoods offerings !

The hotel is very basic. No closet in the room and only two towels. No hand towels, no tissues, and only one trash can. We came back to the room the second day after 2pm and the room still wasn't made up. We found the housekeeper and let her know it was fine not to make up the room but we needed more towels and an extra pillow. She gave us the towels then and there but said we had to wait 30 min for the pillow and we had to be there in the room, not sure why, when she brought it. We waited about 1.5 hours but had to go because we had reservations. We never got the pillow.

I’m hoping they do better on cleaning, as I found that bra under my bed
