We had a great experience here! The pool was so fun for the kids and it was very family friendly which is great when you have two kids! The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the elevators were so slaw and you had to wait a while. But other than that it was great and we would stay here again! Also the staff was very friendly!

The hotel was very nice and clean and the rooms were clean. The staff was polite and helpful. While the breakfast buffet looked very impressive, the hot foods were mostly lukewarm. The waffles tasted like plastic and after trying one bite I threw it away. I noticed that there were very few people who were making them We had to wait on bowls and more food most every morning. However, it was very busy and I only saw one staff person from the kitchen. We will probably stay there again.

The hotel is clean, which is a huge plus for any hotel. However, the doors were very thin and people were loudly talking in the hallway all night. The pool was also filled with wild children, so not ideal for anyone without children who would like to use the pool. Overall it was good, but not a luxury hotel per say.

Room was nice n updated. Sink was kinda slow to drain. Coffee maker didn’t work. They are working on updating rooms, so there was noise during day. One of the workers was laying in floor of hallway taking a break! Breakfast food wasn’t hot. But overall we enjoyed it.

Very restful after a busy day

The room had a jacuzzi in it which I personally appreciated. The pool is open 24 hours which is hard to find and they had movies and popcorn in the evenings in the pool room. However the lighting prevented you from seeing the screen very well. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The staff was quick to bring extra pillows/blankets. Overall I liked the hotel.

The room was an average hotel room, indoor pool and free popcorn was great but, thats about all the good things. I booked through hotels.com and was able to reschedule my stay due to getting sick the week we were suppose to leave everything was fine with hotels.com but when i showed up to check in the hotel staff told me they do not have my room and they did not want to help me they told me i would have to just call hotels.com myself and figure it out. So i called and was able to speek with a nice lady and she put me on hold and called the hotel and after about 10 minutes the staff told me it was all fixed and allowed me to check in they did not apologize then I specifically asked them about the check in and check out dates to make sure it was all correct they told me it was correct. I went on with my vacation then the day before my check out date I was out having a nice time with my family and I got a call from the hotel manager telling me I need to come get my stuff out of my room because I need to check out. So I told her I was not supposed to check out until the next day and I paid up to the next day and that everything is correct with hotels.com and I already been through this and was told it was all fixed. She told me she didnt know who told me it was fixed because it was not, so I told her I'd call hotels.com again and have them call the hotel myself since they just refuse to even try to figure out anything and again it was the hotels system just like it was before.

The hotel itself and staff are very nice. The free breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, their policies on pets led to there being a dog directly across the hall from us that barked a lot. Additionally, you can hear every sound in the halls, from people talking normally, to people running, knocking on doors, and doors closing. Interestingly, we did not hear any room noises except the barking dog. This was one of the noisiest places I have ever stayed due to the hallway noises, especially late at night. It’s not that the guests were out of line as much as it seems to be a poor design or poor quality of door. Everything else was very nice.

In need of some remodeling. Out of bodywash soap and conditioner in my room. It was never delivered. Had to go to the front desk. Staff was pleasant

Check in is diff than most hotels. They don’t start cleaning the rooms until 4pm. They say check in is at 4pm but be aware it is closer to 5:30 or 6. We sat in the parking lot for an hour and a half waiting. A car ran into the hotel so that was some excitement. They do popcorn and a movie which is a nice feature except both times we went for popcorn it was burnt. The pool is really busy. There were 12 people in the hot tub. Not sure the age for the hot tub but kids under 10 were in it. Indoor pool was open and it is very cold still in Dec. Our room was clean but one bed did not have a fitted sheet. The breakfast buffet is decent. I have been to hotels with way more but it did the job of feeding us. No bacon or sausage but they had country ham. We would stay again since the room was clean and it is right off the strip and they do accept dogs and you can leave them in the room when you go out which is rare.

Breakfast was the highlight. We had two closeby rooms but they moved one of them to a different floor so that was not so good. An indoor pool saved the day in winter though it is rather cold. Pigeon Forge is a really good place to stay close to Gatlinburg without the overprices of Gatlinburg and with many more choices for dining, shopping and entertainment.

Not what we was expect or price , overall good place if you have pets

Our first visit and will definitely book again. It was so fun having a 24 hr pool. Our room was nice and clean. The elevator could use some updating but other than that it was a nice hotel. Couldn't ask for a better location near everything!! Staff were very nice and helpful. You won't be disappointed.

Based on the reviews, i had high expectations for this hotel. But it was incredibly blah. It looks like the hotel hasn't been worked on in 20 years. Lobby was covered in popcorn on the floor. Hallway on the 4th floor smelled funky. The room was just ok. The room next door had a fake service animal that they left in the room to bark for hours. The bed also has thesemetal brackets that stick out amd i slammed my knee into it walking by, so be careful walking near the bed. It wasnt the worst hotel ive been to, but i wouldnt stay here again. 5/10.

Great place people so friendly little bit update need

We were excited to get to the site. Google street view showed a nice building. It was just far enough off the street to be away and included at the same time. Upon arriving, we found the lobby to be very warm, cozy, and welcoming. The fireplace was pleasant and the Christmas decorations were very nice. Everything was great. Checking in was very pleasant as well. Staff were very polite and conversed well. I asked for advice on a nice place to see and was recommended to go see Cade’s Cove. That recommendation ended up being my favorite part of the entire vacation. The chief complaint we have with the site is that out of a 5 night stay, our room was only serviced once. It was difficult at first to even get fresh towels. When we would mention to the front desk staff about housekeeping not coming, every person’s default was “did you have your do not disturb plaque on the doorknob?” Thats a fair question once but seemed to be the trained response. They put us down to have towels delivered but they never were. We had to get them from the front desk a few times since they weren’t delivered when requested. I think the company budgets to save as much money as possible, so they may cut corners where they can. But I don’t think on anything dangerous, just inconvenient to the customer. Thats our experience. We probably won’t stay again, but I think this is still a fair place to stay if you are on a budget. We enjoyed our trip very much and thank The Ramsey overall.

Very beautiful and clean. Only comment is the bed made squeaky metal noise every time my husband move. Also, pop corn for movi is very salty, but other than that it was beautiful, we enjoyed being there, very convenient to everything.
