Lovely hotel in a great area with lots to do. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious

Great location.

Everything was good, staff were fabulous, hotel was clean, only thing for me was that we were at the front and had the window open because it was very warm and the noise of traffic was terrible. Very very noisy road and fast speeding cars etc all night. Im a good sleeper but was awoke quite a few times by noisy traffic. I was hoping for the noise from owls or foxes haha . If i was to stay again i would ask for a room at the back ?

Fantastic lodge and facilities. No.48. Staff were really good with us for breakfast and dinner. They were great with our Dog too, set up a lovely table for us in the pub so we could bring the dog to breakfast. We will definitely be back, thank you for the stay.

We had a terrific break, staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. A highlight was my rack of ribs for dinner….. incredible.

This was a lovely hotel good food and great spa and gym facilities. The room (lodge) could have done with a mini fridge to help keep bottled water cold.

Lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. Big relaxing and inviting bar area. The pool area was ok, the hot tub was warm not hot but still relaxing after a long hike. Not a place where you can rest on lounge chairs but if you wanted to swim, sauna, steam room then perfect. Stayed in a lodge room which was the best choice, very quiet and view to greenery and trees. Room and bathroom very spacious. Highly recommend.

Very enjoyable stay

Really nice hotel with lovely reception and restaurant staff. Lovely, clean comfortable room, the only downside is there were toilets next to our room so every time somebody used the hand dryer we had a lot of noise. Bathroom was small but very clean. Will definitely stay again

We had a lovely break in one of the lodges. The food in the restaurant was some of the best food we've ever tasted and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Some aspects of the hotel and leisure centre look tired such as the handle bars near the steps of the top part of the pool are very loose, rust around the taps in the lodge, some chairs in the hotel restaurant could do with being replaced. Having said this it didn't take anything away from the wonderful time we had. After climbing a mountain we really appreciated the fantastic jacuzzi, exceptionally comfy bed and warm, powerful shower. The staff are very friendly and attentive to guests needs, providing ice cold water for the rooms due to a heatwave. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Great location. 10min walk into Betws-y-coed. Loads of parking at the hotel. We stayed in a Delux Double room which had recently been renovatated and it was beautiful with a huge comfy bed, a sofa, a modern bathroom, separate free standing bath in the bedroom plus a outside seating area. The bath was ideal to relax in after a day exploring. Our only issue was finding a large clump of hair on the bathroom floor which the cleaners must have missed. Not a major problem, we simply picked it up with a tissue and binned it... but not great! The hotel also has a pool and gym, but we didn't use these. From the outside, the hotel overall looks tired and dated. But if you book a renovated room, you can't go wrong. We would stay again.

Stayed in one of the lodge rooms after doing the Welsh Three peaks. Being able to park right outside the room was a really helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the half price access to health spa was a real bonus. Will be staying again

Very comfortable stay in one of the lodges. Great location with lots to see and do in the area, especially if you like outdoor activities. Snowdon hikes are a 15/30 minute drive away depending on what route you take up the mountain. Having free access to the swimming pool and hot tub is wonderful after a days hiking. Only negative was the quality and quantity of the breakfast was a bit lacking.
