The room was clean and the mattress seemed pretty new. The parking lot was cramped, we had a hard time finding a spot. Breakfast was disappointing - the scrambled eggs were those pre-formed pucks. There was no ketchup, and the waffle batter was weird. I would theoretically stay again but it wouldn’t be a first choice.

People are so nice there, rooms were huge and well equipped especially for the price. Beds were comfy. And a free breakfast!

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn on Essa while attending a wedding at Horseshoe Valley. The front desk staff were very polite, friendly and professional. Check in was super easy and the property was well maintained. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had no complaints. We would definitely stay again if visiting the Barrie area. A lot of amenities near by and the included breakfast was all we needed to start the day. The coffee in the room was great and toiletries were good quality.

The hotel was nicely renovated but the air freshener smell was too strong. The biggest complaint was one of the mattresses was sagging a lot and you could hear the springs grinding it it. It needs to be replaced and was in horrible condition and I had a terrible sleep as a result !!!! Everything else was good

What gym? The toilet seat was loose and needed maintenance. the clost had no rod to hang clothes up.

We really appreciated the help in finding the least number of stairs to lug our stuff up to our room. However, an elevator would be so much nicer. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was not. Thank you
