Fantastic location in the centre of Stanford

Stamford is a great place and the hotel is perfectly located in the centre to get everywhere. Very clean, tidy and all round amazing hotel. Highly recommend!!!!!

Altogether a pleasant experience. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The only critique is that the bathroom did not have enough shelving to put belongings on.

Really good hotel great parking and very central

A lovely hotel which is very well located in Stamford, The Crown is near the main shopping street and many restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the Burghley estate. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable; our room faced out onto the street but the thick curtains ensured that we were not disturbed by the lights. Breakfast was very good and the staff are courteous and efficient. We arrived at check-in time and managed to park in the hotel car park, but it is quite small and I think it would have been full if we’d arrived much later. However, this is still a great hotel which I would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Stamford which seemed a lovely town. Room was super comfortable with high std and finish. Brekkie was gorgeous! Will definitely stay again

Nice cosy hotel despite the noisy restaurant downstairs which closes quite early so not an issue. Small room but well appointed. Could do with better sound proofing - someone in another room was snoring and we could hear it all night. Good breakfast.

Lovely stop in our favourite hotel in Stamford. Accommodation was first rate as always, we had booked the Hayloft for a change, but unfortunately this was not available when we arrived... however we were upgraded and had a wonderful room in the townhouse. Staff very friendly and helpful. Geat atmosphere

Room was superb. So clean. Added touches with bottled water, tissues etc. Food excellent.

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, great location in lovely town

Very possibly the best hotel, pub and restaurant in Stamford. The food and accommodation were excellent and the location simply can't be beaten. A big thank you to the staff in every single department, you were amazing!

Limited parking

We have stayed at the Crown before. Location is great. Staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Quality of food very good and well presented. Would recommend a stay here. We will be back.

Truly magnificent hotel …1st class

Great central position in a lovely old town

Nice room and lovely shower. V nice staff Good breakfast. Right in middle of Stamford so great location. Asked for a quiet room but we looked out onto an area with air con piping which you could hear but not at night. Also lots of people walking past on creaky landing.
