The hotel itself was nice. The underground parking was limited and tight. Our room was great, but a bit awkward on the patio as it had the neighboring guest suit picture window faced our rooms patio. Bit of a fish bowl effect. Other than that, our stay was pleasant.

Beautiful view

Our stay at Ocean Promenade Hotel was very enjoyable overall. The room was clean and up to date, and the showers were amazing. The location is truly hard to beat, sitting right across the street from the water and directly on the main boulevard with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were fantastic at check-in and very welcoming, taking the time to give us lots of helpful information about the town. We also appreciated having a cafe attached to the hotel. The only real issue we had was parking, as a spot in the underground lot is not guaranteed and there are more rooms than stalls. Since that was the case for us, we had to deal with the headache of finding street parking, which can take time on a busy day and may be a bit of a walk from the hotel. On top of that, street parking means having to pay until it becomes free overnight, then either paying again or moving the vehicle in the morning, which we did not appreciate. That said, we would absolutely stay here again. The location alone is worth it, and if this is one of the only hotels left in White Rock, it is definitely a place to keep in mind.

Great location for walking along the boardwalk in White Rock. Heated floor in the bathroom was a nice plus and the beds were very comfortable.

Excellent location for a beach vacation. We used the Cafe every morning for breakfast and coffee. Every staff we encountered were very friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfy. On site parking garage would be tight if you had a bigger vehicle and cost $23/ day

It was really relaxing to stay but the parking was a bit pricey when most hotels should have it for free, to consider the place was already on high end price. Otherwise the staff were all nice.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Promenade Hotel in White Rock. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and graciously upgraded my room to one with a beautiful ocean view, which made my visit even more special. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach, waterfront promenade, and plenty of benches and tables where you can relax and take in the scenery (and watch the trains pass by!). There are countless restaurants within walking distance, but my top recommendation is Moby Dick’s Fish & Chips—a local favorite that’s absolutely worth a visit. I would happily stay here again!
