If you’re looking for a functional place to stay close to the harbour then it’s perfect! Walkable.

None. Very basic.

Not very clean, bits on the bedroom floor, so not sure it had been hoovered. Also the hotel is generally pretty tired, for example bits of the ceiling was missing above the floor and paint was flaking off on the walls in the bedroom. The location was great and the beds were clean but that’s the only positives really. Also we had a family room and it’s above the entertainment room so really noisy until about midnight.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Grand Burstin. Hotel was very clean, staff were really friendly and the amenities were fantastic. The entertainment at the hotel was out of this world and so unexpected. I had a wonderful evening full of entertainment. Bar staff are very friendly. Especially the lady with the long brown hair. Thank you Burstin!

Great location, but reception staff leave alot to be desired, I found them very condescending. Breakfast was average. Bedrooms were very stuffy as there wasnt any air conditioning, despite our room being a premier one. I wouldn't stay there again

Good value. Only let down by check in time which was 15 minutes. Staff available but all dealing with one customer. No apologies for the time we waited.

Room wasn't to bad but could of had a fan. Because we overlooked the air-conditioning units it was noisy as running all the time. Bathroom wasn't good no handrails to help getting in and out of the bath, as shower was over the bath. The bath was rusty and looked very dirty which was off-putting.

Bei einer Außentemperatur von 23 Grad waren gefühlte 40 Grad im Zimmer und das Fenster konnte man nur einen Spalt öffnen. Trotz Ventilator war es nicht auszuhalten und an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Das Frühstück war zu teuer für das Angebot. Sehr einfaches Hotel mit hohem Renovierungsrückstau und Renovierungsbedarf. Parkplatz am Hotel sehr begrenzt und chaotisch. Parkplatz nebenan kostet 22 Pfund ab 8 Stunden Aufenthalt. Preis/ Leistung stand in keinem Verhältnis.

Respectfully to the owner of the property, You have friendly staff and the property is located in a great spot. You offer venues for hiring m, have a swimming pool, arcade, bar, a restaurant on site and more, so…. Why don’t you stop just grabbing money from your clients and actually invest in making the property better??????? Honestly? It’s 2026, and the rooms only have fans? Omg we almost melted during our stay and you won’t even have fridge/coolers in every room? The sad part is that we actually got a decent room with a nice view that we couldn’t enjoy so much because it was so hot. Also, everything is so outdated. So honestly we would come back but only for location preference, because the conditions of the place are just sad. Shame on you the owner whoever you are.

The staff were excellent and the hotel bar was good but the whole place appeared dated and in some areas, a poor state of repair (like gaffa tape holding one of the lift control panels to the wall!). Our room was in overall ok condition but simple things that should have worked didn’t, for example the cold tap on the sink was faulty, there were no batteries in the TV remote and when I switched on the wall light, it swivelled freely as it wasn’t fixed to the wall properly. The main bed mattress was awful. This hotel has the potential to be amazing but it needs significant renovation to get there.

I appreciated a clean room, sheets etc. which were really the most important for me. One member of staff on reception was quick, efficent and aimiable. Another was surly and unappreciative. The bar closed early, which did not bother me; but the only food on the menu was pizza, not a favourite. I did not have breakfast.

Good view but room was not cleaned properly.

This is a basic hotel with very nice front of house staff. I spent only one night prior to my trip on the Eurotunnel, which was convenient. It was great that they are pet friendly.

Good value for money hotel, good location and overall satisfied. Older style hotel and entertainment nightly.

Armzalige kamer, super slechte matras, enorm veel lawaai in de gangen en buiten! Afschuwelijke ervaring, hotel geboekt doordat de Shuttle volzet was. Beter in mijn wagen geslapen

The weather was incredibly hot there was no Aircon which made the room very hot
