The hotel is not in the hubbub of tourist-filled Banff. It's close enough to take advantage of all town amenities, but far enough away to be a respite. Such gorgeous rooms with magnificent views! Such a great restaurant! And the staff was so helpful in booking excursions, recommending all kinds of things, particular to what you want. This is the best hotel experience of our trip so far. Just cannot recommend highly enough.

We loved the Juniper Hotel. Front desk was friendly, cheerful and helpful in arranging complimentary rides to and from town. Mountain View’s from our room were excellent and we ate the best breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Highly recommended for an excellent stay.

Room and property was maintained. Couple things that would have been nice: either microwave in the rooms or shared lounge area. Wished there was more sound proofing in the walls. We were in the first floor and could hear TV the next door neighbor. We could hear upstairs neighbors walking and kids running and stomping. This was not pleasant and probably deterred us from returning.

Hudson helped me book a few local adventures and also told we where to see wildlife +, the room he reserved for me had an outstanding view and met my wife’s physical needs (no stairs) very well . Food at the Bistro was great..location of hotel is remote (in the forest), yet very close to town and has shuttle for guests.

The mountain views were beautiful and the highlight of our stay. However, the sheets and shower curtain were not clean, and the bedroom quality did not quite match the price. The staff responded quickly and cleaned everything once we notified them, which we appreciated. Overall, the experience was good, but I'm not sure it was worth the cost.

Lovely room, great staff. Restaurant for dinner was gorgeous but not so much for breakfast. There was a block that was a bedside table which really wasn’t helpful and the air conditioning was noisy. Good coffee facilities and cosy bedding.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was absolutely perfect after a day of exploring. The mountain view was breathtaking and made the experience even more special. Waking up to such beautiful scenery was unforgettable. They also have free drop off and pick up to downtown Banff which makes it easier to roam around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning mountain views.

Awesome 9.5 at least, not sure how they average to 8.8 here. Staff is great room comfy and the scenery, well that come and check out Banff!

The rooms were super clean, we got upgraded for free, and ended up utilizing the free e-bike ride we got for three hours. I would definitely stay again!

Location of this hotel is great, and likely they have lots of wildlife come by the property as I’ve seen many in the area before. But we didn’t see any in the night we visited, unfortunately. The room itself was fine. But it was disappointing to have really cheap toilet paper that broke apart. We also had a broken lamp, and the room was quite dark. But, the staff was super helpful, and there were nice touches like games in the lobby.

Great location if you want to stay away from the business of tourists Views are phenomenal! Hot tub was always empty when we used it. Robes were a nice add on. My 14 and 12 year old and I Ioved to be able to use the bikes and front desk provided all instructions and a map of trails. Bistro is amazing. Patio views are picturesque. We ordered sopes (Mexican vibe), they were soooo delicious and a michelada! Loved having a French press and kettle in the room. The one and only thing if I had to pick something out would be to get an added set of lighter curtains because the room light is very dim. The heavy dark curtains are perfect to keep out the early morning sun but too dark to.change clothes.

Staff was nice. Restaurant looked beautiful although we did not eat there. Rooms have the most amazing views but are very dated as are the furnishings. Nice products in bathroom and good local tea product. Lots of amenities to enjoy at this hotel if you have the time. Nice patios with views of Rundle / but right over the highway. Be prepared for traffic noise .

The single small hot tub was always too full for us to use it. The beds were way too hard. There could have been a mini fridge and microwave in the room and extra seating like a small couch or another lounge chair.
