A great place for a pet friendly stay! We always love the rooms, the restaurant and the beautiful ocean view. It's just the best location. We did have construction materials that were in our view this time (discarded cardboard) but I alerted the desk and hopefully this is a temporary thing. :)

The room was clean and we had a great view! We asked to change our room to have an ocean view and they accommodated us and found us a room. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the dining room and Jill, our server, was excellent. Everything we experienced was excellent.

I have to admit, we were shocked at how amazing this place was. I told my wife, I just booked some place don't expect much. WELL we were fooled. Great staff, great location, great room!!! Only issue, the coffee shop should have fresh baked stuff from local people... that is it though!!! I highly recommend!

Nice clean room with a beautiful ocean view. The path down to the ocean could be improved and the Gazebo definitely needs updating, repairs, new paint and a clean up.

Weekend getaway with my teenaged twin boys. We were only a few hours away from our destination but the resort vibes we got made us feel like we were in a Mexican resort. Nice pools and excellent scenery.

Room was clean. Shower pressure was a little weak but everything else was great and my dog says thanks for the treats!

Room was clean, comfortable and roomy (we had a room facing the ocean with a balcony), the breakfast food quality in the restaurant and service was definitely top tier. The staff from check in all the way to the restaurant were awesome. This is one of Parksville's "Sweet Spots" to stay and look forward to returning soon.

The staff was welcoming and professional. The property was somewhat dated but clean and well maintained. The breakfast and service was excellent. You can’t beat the view.

The patio and path to the beach was being upgraded while we were there but it is probably fine now. The single elevator broke down for one day but the staff were quick to assist. it is a lovely hotel with a first class (expensive) and delicous dining room. More non seafood should be on the menu. The hotel was much older than expected from details on the internet but in excellent condition. The two items we did not like were: 1) No microwave oven in our room but one was available by the elevator on each floor and 2) Zero drawers for clothing or anything in the room. The first time ever for both these items. Hot tub available but not desired and a beautiful/clean outdoor swimming pool but too cold outside for us.
