This is part of the Ramada Resort chain. It is situated off a main road with spread out buildings in picturesque grounds and decent parking close to the main building and reception. I had a really nice room with a fully functioning fan to offset the 30+ degree temperatures. I used the onsite fitness facility which was pretty well equipped for all my cardio and weights needs. The shower was much appreciated after the workout and led to a great night's rest on a very comfy bed. Breakfast was really good and set up the day perfectly. All this was for less than £80 and represented fantastic value for money.

Lovely place very creaky floor in our room (with hazardous windows don't look out of open window in the dark without first noticing the window catch is more.like a metal eye poker -for me anyway) Other than lovely friendly staff Breakfast by far more efficient than supper. Nice stay though thank you

Unless you drive and you are ofay to the local bus service you'll have to rely on a Veezu cab to the hotel which costs anything from £15 to £20

Property needs updating carpets and bathroom grubby. Coffee and tea facility not adequately catered for. Staff very helpful. Beds comfortable. Was a bit noisy. Spa and gym good. Was great value for money. Breakfast was good.

Charming hotel in idyllic surroundings only slightly marred by lack of investment in upkeep. Rooms are spacious but tired in need of updating and maintenance. Hotel spa facility to include gym and Romanesque style pool, however are excellent. Staff was helpful, courteous, professional and polite during our stay. Many thanks to all.

We had room 24. Could watch the house martins nesting while lying in bed. Amazing history. Needs some refurbishment but not surprising in an older property and everything worked. Enjoyed spa facilities. Staff were really helpful although not always accessible when needed. Excellent restaurant in Usk (Wallace steakhouse although not cheap) Seemed to be limited to one key per room. Overall we spent a couple of really nice nights (B&B) there.

The hotel its self was a little tired. Very basic but clean. The Spa and pool were good. The food was a little over priced for what you got. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Room was clean and everything was perfect. A little damp etc in areas on the ceiling. Bed was very comfortable and then cleaned the room thoroughly on both days that I was here. Spa was amazing and well out the car for a nice secure car park

The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing. Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. Our main reason for staying here was to visit family for a birthday party. The hotel rang for a taxi twice and nothing turned up. We waited for a full hour and ended up having to drive. Fortunately me managed to get a taxi back but it was expensive. Lovely place to stay in , would be even better if they weren't trying to run on minimal staff . We would stay again because of the location and facilities.

A very nice stay breakfast good. 9.30 close is to early. Building needs updating

Stain on bed sheet, holes in the side of the plastic around bath, ceiling peeling, scaffold going up early in the morning on first and last day, only outside our room which we were not warned about. Not a fun wake up call. Food was overpriced for the quality, seemed only one young lad was actually working, clearly was overstressed. Pools ceiling has a hole in it, only had the lights on the bed dresser and a fake fire as light in the actual room. One light fitting had no bulbs in it.

First day breakfast was sparse and no one to top up or tent Second day there was one person running around alone and by the time the food was topped up most guests had left The rooms were sub par , damp in the bathroom Lack of plugs and lighting in the rooms Gym is well equipped , the swimming pool is outdated Beautiful location and stuff over all very friendly

We upgraded as we were looking forward to a arelaving treat for me and my partner. The upgrade was supposedly their best room which was full of cobwebs in the lounge area the bedroom and the bathroom and their dust everywhere and even worse inside the wardrobe it was thick with dust unableto put clothes in their . The furniture was falling apart and pieces missing off bits of furniture also. After I booked i was told breakfast last call was 10.30 am . We turned up at 9.45 to be told breakfast had stopped at 9.30 so we had to leave early and go buy breakfast at a local cafe. Extremely disappointed with this stay honestly I wouldn't recommend it to anyone the facilities are ok but the rooms are terrible. Im going to get a refund as im upset with the service , cleanliness of the room and booking bed and breakfast to not be able to have breakfast as it was stopped at 9.30. Really disappointed better service hotels for the same money do not recommend.

Stayed here many times, Lovely hotel, but does look bit tired and needs a bit of TLC. Staff are very helpful, but the hotel is looking tired.

Staff pleasant, breakfast adequate, room run down and tatty did not live up to my expectation. A place where 2 of Henry VIII wives stayed was a plus so was the pleasant surroundings

I have stayed here before and this time was just as lovely as previous visits. Breakfast was great and the room was clean and spacious.
