Overall, had a pleasant experience. The room and restroom were small, but we expected it due to reviews. On our first night we had an issue with water from AC pouring into the restroom from ceiling. We alerted staff and they immediately moved us to another room. I appreciated the quick response as it was a safety concern. We ate breakfast at the hotel and Mariam provided great service.

Warm and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff provided cold water and snacks when we were coming and going. My only complaint would be the size of the bathroom/shower. It was way too small for our family. Everything else was 5 star worthy.

On arrival I was very warmly welcomed by all staff. Offered a drink ,sweets,biscuits etc. We needed food so SHAHRAM the Manager told us about a pub 1 minute walk away and gave us a leaflet for 10% off. Very friendly and a nice touch. Room was clean,tidy and goid value for the price. Breakfast was adequate but a cooked breakfast would have been even better. Very handy for the metro 7 minute walk to Southwark, borough or Elephant and castle metro's. Would definitely stay again.

Das Hotel ist wirklich nett. Obst und Kekse auf dem Zimmer, Wasserflaschen, Bonbons und Kekse in der Lobby. Abzüge vor allem bei der Breite des Doppelbetts.

Staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. Room was very basic and small. Floor wasn't particularly clean and around the shower was a bit grubby. Breakfast was very basic, toast and croissants. Okay for a short stay.

Good location, between Westminster and City of London, 20 min walk to Borough Market. Great place to just sleep, very small and big luggage DOES NOT FIT in rooms. It was good for what we wanted. Waterloo train sta close by

Vom Hotel aus sind die Tower Bridge und der Tower in der einen Richtung - und Big Ben und Westminster Abbey in der anderen Richtung, jeweils in 30 Minuten bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist ein ideal gelegener Ausgangspunkt für einen Städtetrip in London. Verschiedene U-Bahn Stationen und Bushaltestellen sind unweit des Hotels angesiedelt. Das saubere und zweckmäßige Zimmer ist - der in England üblichen Bauweise geschuldet - relativ klein. Das tut dem Aufenthalt jedoch keinen Abbruch, da man sich ja ausschließlich zum Schlafen im Zimmer aufhält und den Rest des Tages in der Stadt unterwegs ist. Die Auswahl beim kontinentalen Frühstück ist nicht übermäßig groß, jedoch für den Start in den Tag vollkommen ausreichend. Außerdem stehen in der Rezeption kostenfreies Obst und Wasser zur Verfügung, von dem man sich nach belieben bedienen kann. Und nicht zu vergessen, ist das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels, in dieser zentralen Lage unschlagbar.

The staff was wonderful and took care of our every need. The location of the hotel was important for us as it was easy to get everywhere we needed to be.

It was amazing overall

Very convenient budget hotel. The staff were very nice and accommodating, the free breakfast is better than no breakfast. Convenience store is few steps away, 20min walk to London bridge and Borough Market, also nearby church and restaurants on the street about 5-10mins walk. The room is very compressed (ideal for single travelers), tight for a 2-person with luggage (in fairness, our 4 luggage was able to fit in the room but we have tight walking space. No table or microwave in the room so if you want to eat in your room, you gotta sit in the bed. There is a fridge and daily water, coffee, fruits. The bed was not the best, I found it uncomfortable but if you're not picky, this is the best place so far given a lot of pros rather than the said cons I said in this review. I would definitely stay here again by myself. The neighbor seemed safe except for some noise that is totally tolerable. We stayed for 3 nights and I can absolutely recommend this hotel for long stays. Thank you City London Hotel!

Room was small but clean and comfortable. Good bathroom. Again, small but clean and good shower. Bed reasonably comfortable. Good value for money. Would stay again.

Amazing hotel to stay in London! It’s very close to the main attractions and the tube stations, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the breakfast is great! Definitely will stay there again!

Die Zimmer sind klein, aber der Rest ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist freundlich, es gibt kostenloses Wasser, Äpfel und Orangen.(anderes Obst nicht). Es ist alles nicht ganz neu (ausser dem Bad), aber super sauber. Dem Frühstück fehlt es an Wurst, was uns aber nicht stört. Vielen Dank

Very clean bedroom and bathroom. My room fronted onto the main street, so occasionally there was traffic noise and the occasional siren, but the building itself was very quiet. I basic buffet breakfast, which was nice, but could be made better with a selection of fruit. Walking distance to bus and metro stops. Good value, and I will be staying here again in future.

Nos hemos alojado durante 3 días y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Desde el primer momento, el personal fue muy amable y atento. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas y la habitación resultó ser cómoda, limpia y bien equipada. La ubicación es muy buena, ideal para moverse por la ciudad y la zona es bastante silenciosa para poder descansar después de un largo día de turismo. Uno de los puntos que más nos ha gustado ha sido el desayuno que el hotel incluye: variado, y de buena calidad. Sin duda, un detalle que marca la diferencia y completa una estancia muy agradable. No dudaremos en volver en el futuro. ¡Gracias por una experiencia tan positiva!

Wonderful stay. Confortable room, small bathroom but functional. Excellent location. All the staff welcoming, making us feel at home.
