Questo hotel non è assolutamente un 5 stelle, non vale un centesimo di quello che vi fanno pagare. Andate altrove! I ragazzi del personale sono estremamente gentili, ma penso non siano formati per lavorare in un hotel 5 stelle e non è colpa loro. Le camere sono sporche e rumorose. Non ci sono attività da fare nell'hotel se non quelle a pagamento. Evitate la grigliata di pesce al bar, super costosa e veramente misera! L'ultima sera c'è stata una festa che ci ha impedito di dormire e la mattina successiva dovevamo partire. Per il costo , questo hotel è stata un delusione immensa. Il corridoio delle camere deluxe, sembrava quello di una caserma, è veramente tenuto male e trascurato. L'unica nota positiva il cibo vario sia a cena che a colazione ma anche nel ristorante le condizioni igieniche sono assurde, nonostante l'impegno di chi lavora, ma ripeto, manca proprio una formazione adeguata secondo me.

We took the Family residence suit, was very spacious, clean, super view, with a private access to the beach. Paid premium price, But was it worth it for that price, Not really. We had half board, food was good. The property is old, the doors hasn't got key less entry. Overall i would give a 7 out of 10.

If you book the Deluxe Ocean View, you can walk straight from your room to the beach. ​Dining & Service: Friendly staff and delicious food with a great variety of Continental and Sri Lankan dishes. ​Amenities: Lots to do on-site! There is a great spa (highly recommend the head massage), games room, badminton court, beach volleyball, and bike rentals. ​The Beach & Activities: The water was perfectly warm in July. The immediate beach has a lot of coral, but just to the left of the property is a gorgeous, sandy beach perfect for swimming. There are also plenty of water sports nearby (jet ski, banana boats, snorkeling, diving). ​The Verdict: I definitely recommend Amaya over the neighboring hotels. Great stay!

Struttura molto bella e grande, personale cordiale e sempre di supporto, camere ampie e ben tenute e curate, bellissimo fronte mare e grande piscina. Ristorante buono ma con poche variazioni nei differenti giorni di permanenza, ottima la spa. E' proprio una struttura per il relax perche' non c'e' animazione. Al di fuori del villaggio non c'e' quasi nulla. Spiaggia bella ma con coralli quindi per entrare in acqua proprio davanti occorrono le scarpette, altrimenti bisogna spostarsi di 500/600 metri verso la spiaggia pubblica per avere la possibilita' di entrare a piedi nudi. pero' il soggiorno in struttura e' stato piacevole e rilassante.

Clean and spacious rooms with excellent amenities. All staffs including those at the reception, dining area, poolside, house keeping are exceptionally courteous, professional and ready and willing to help to make our stay extremely comfortable. Buffet breakfast has very good selection with attending staff. We will choose this hotel without hesitation when we visit Pasikuda in the future.

However, I would like to sincerely thank the hotel management for their understanding and professionalism. Although I was unable to stay as planned, the team responded promptly to my situation and kindly agreed to provide a free cancellation, advising me to process the refund through Expedia. Their courteous communication and willingness to assist during a stressful travel situation were greatly appreciated. Based on my interactions with the staff, I found them to be responsive, compassionate, and customer-focused. If you are planning a trip to Pasikudah, I recommend contacting the hotel directly if your travel plans change unexpectedly, as they were very helpful in addressing my concerns. I look forward to visiting Amaya Beach, Pasikudah, on a future trip under better circumstances.

Good place to stay and enjoy

We stayed here in February to celebrate our birthdays and had any amazing time. The staff are beautifully friendly, the property is always clean with staff tending to every area throughout the day. Bedroom was large, bed was very comfy and shower was very good!

Friendly staff, attentive to room service needs. Shakila at breakfast was very good. She went out of the way to service us. There were 2 male receptionist staff also were great! Forgot their names. Expedia had listed standard room as ocean view, but the property didn’t acknowledge as ocean view for standard room. We got the room we wanted after explaining it, they were accommodating. Will go back again.

A decent seaside venue with good facilities. Nice layout. However some maintenance and service deficiencies with AC unit leaking stagnant water that needed multiple calls for clean up. Maintenance crew only mopped the dirty water and left a air fresher for the guests to use. Had to call room service to have rest of the clean up completed. No engagement by property management at all. The pool, beach and bar staff are very pleasant and courteous. However front desk and onsite managers need more training in customer service and ensuring that they listen to the guests instead of being dismissive. Other properties in the location have nicer beaches and better trained more friendly and responsive management. The adjacent usable public beach is crowded. Not meeting standards of an Expedia VIP property in terms of overall standards and service.

Excellent rooms - very spacious and we'll equipped. Buffet was good. Service on the patio exceptional! 3 star rating is due to drivers quarters not being available during our stay. They are charging enough that there should be appropriate accommodations for drivers - they are very much a part of the trip and need to be well rested for long drives to and from Pasikuda.

Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious with options for all visitors. Gym had good equipment and the pool and grounds are lovely. My only suggestion would be to have an iron in all rooms it would have been helpful with my wrinkled dresses.
