It was an amazing stay at the Franklin. The staff were professional, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The location of the hotel is convenient, 5 minutes walk away Knightsbridge and maybe 10 from the museum. I had a great time here with my family.

The Franklin is a small luxury boutique hotel set on a charming street steps away from shopping, museums and great restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised and would absolutely return. The check in was the most pleasant and personal check in I have experienced at a any hotel. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Such a gem!!! Thank you The Franklin Hotel London ❤️

I love this hotel, I’ve stayed a few times and the proximity to Sloan St is perfection. The staff is very attentive and make you feel genuinely looked after and appreciates my only issue, and it’s a design one is how dark the rooms are. The walls and furnishings are in black and dark gray hues and some rooms have small windows.

Minha primeira estadia neste hotel foi excepcional. O quarto era amplo, muito confortável, bem equipado e a experiência como um todo foi impecável. O restaurante também é excelente, então saí muito satisfeito e decidi voltar. No entanto, na minha segunda hospedagem, apesar de ter reservado a mesma categoria de quarto, a experiência foi completamente diferente. Fiquei em um quarto no último andar que era muito menor, com um armário apenas com cortina e praticamente sem espaço para abrir as malas. Parecia um quarto de categoria inferior, embora a reserva fosse a mesma. Foi uma grande decepção, pois esperava encontrar o mesmo padrão da primeira estadia. A diferença entre os quartos da mesma categoria é muito grande e isso deveria ser mais consistente. Mesmo assim, voltaria a me hospedar no hotel, pois a localização, o atendimento e o restaurante são excelentes. Apenas pediria para não ficar novamente nesse tipo de quarto, já que ele não correspondeu à experiência que tive na minha primeira visita.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Kensington. So convenient to many of the top major London amenities, such as Harrods, Harvey Nicks, the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. Spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. Friendly staff and wonderful service. Highly recommend. We'll be back. Leona

The hotel is well located and quiet. Walking distance to the V&A Museum and Natural History Museum. The welcome note and treats were a nice touch. The bedside lighting controls were great and loved that it included a digital « do not disturb » light for housekeeping. All in all, a really wonderful stay. I look forward to staying at the hotel again soon.

The Franklin was such a comfortable and convenient hotel. Perfectly located and very quiet. Staff was terrific. The breakfast room was lovely and the hotel restaurant does a terrific dinner. A real gem.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated for visiting the Chelsea Flower Show, Harrods and V&A museum. The room was fantastic and the front of house staff were friendly and very helpful however, the restaurant lets this hotel down. The food took too long to arrive and the staff were not very attentive. They appeared to be under pressure even when the restaurant was not particularly busy. I would have expected a better quality of service from a 5* hotel. I paid for breakfast as part of my booking and was hugely disappointed when it finally arrived. It was either cold or overdone. Quite frankly, it was below par and compares poorly to other 5* hotels that I have stayed in. That said, when I complained to the manager about the service, they were extremely apologetic and adjusted my bill accordingly to compensate. Also, I forewarned the hotel that my wife was celebrating a significant birthday and, whilst I understand that they were not obligated to acknowledge it, a complimentary box of chocolates, bottle of wine or simply a birthday greeting would have been appreciated. I would stay in this hotel again but would consider an alternative dining experience unless, the standard of food and service in the restaurant improves significantly.

We enjoyed this small hotel and the location was amazing. If you are up for walking it’s a great location (less than 1.5 miles) to most of London’s big attractions including the Chelsea Flower Show. I would have given this a hotel a 5-star, but we found the restaurant staff to be unfriendly and very stressed. We ate 1 dinner and breakfast there and headed out to other restaurants for the following 4 days of our stay. With that said, the food we had was very good. Thank you for a great stay.

Gorgeous hotel. Bar and restaurant are stunning. Rooms are nice size

An historic building in a great location, to be sure. But if I have to be honest, it was my worst sleep in 2 weeks of travel. The A/C was ineffective and recurring sounds of police or other emergency vehicles through the night ruined what could have been a very nice stay. We may have been upgraded to a larger room but the bathroom was minuscule and could accommodate one person only. Breakfast was fine but pricey. Would not stay here again.
