Sleeping on tatami mats for the first time was a fun experience. The bathrooms are shared but impeccably clean.

My stay at the hostel was so close to a bunch of restaurants as well as the subway line and just a 15 minute walk to the Kyoto airport so it was really convenient! I got free towels everyday and laundry was just only 200 Yen for the laundry pods. The hostess (I'm sad I didn't get her name) was nice and kind as to show me how everything works. Japanese isn't required but it was nice for me to practice some of it with her. Definitely would stay here again when I come back to Kyoto.

A small but homey space. They took care of me until I checked out. I'll definetly be back.

They exceeded my expectations. It's really a bang for one's buck. A homey environment, peaceful and quiet neighbourhood, can't say anything more. I would love to be back.

i had a wonderful time here. i slept deeply, i got to get work done in the lobby. the kitchen was well stocked and everything was pristine clean!

Very quiet and clean guesthouse, perfect for a few days

This hostel had a window and fan inside the spacious capsule with a foldable bed for more space. The kitchen was very clean and the laundry was free. Overall great hostel with adequate transportation near by, I would definitely book again.

This place had a great location, close to the train station and no more than 30 minute walks or train rides to most tourist attractions and food. Staff were super friendly and it was very clean. However, if you are used to a softer or thicker mattress, the beds will hurt your back. My partner and I were in a lot of pain after our stay because of the bed and pillow. It was an overall great stay but the beds could hurt you if you’re staying for a longer period.

It's basically a hostel with single rooms. Mostly quiet but it's impossible to close the room door without making a noise that everyone can easily hear. The price is good but there is a significant cost for late check-in.

Basically a self serve guesthouse. Was not used to waking 3 flights down to take a shower, no hanger for towels at the public washing basin and inside pf public toilet, and no TV. But after a couple of days I got used to it and it was OK. Location very convenient ot subways and buses. Price is right also.

혼자 여행하는 사람에겐 최고! 물론 쉐어해야하는 룸이라는건 감안해야하고 샤워룸 화장실 주방 세탁건조기까지 구비되어있다. 이 가격에 이런 장소의 숙소를 구한건 럭키였다. 쉐어 룸의 불편함은 숙소의 문제가 아니고 다른 침대 사용자가 어떠냐의 문제인듯.. 맞아주셨던 남자분은 좀 시크한 듯 하셨지만... 버스 예약건으로 어려움을 겪을 때 긴 시간을 들여 도와줬고, 환불을 위해 버스회사와 직접 소통을 통해 문제를 해결해주었다. 가장 주요한 관광지로 향하는 버스를 바로 골목만 나가면 탈 수 있고 교토역도 버스로 바로 연결... 물론 걸어갈 수도 있다. 주말 관광용 버스가 지나는 루트에 있다면 뭐 여행의 최적지라는건 증명된거나 마찬가지. 전철역도 5분정도면 되고 그앞에 맥도널드, 편의점, 줄서서 먹는 라면집 등등. 한국인들에겐 마음 아픈 역사 임진왜란때 희생된 선조들의 귀무덤(이총)이 바로 근처라서 들러보았다. 한가지...파티션이 커튼이 아니고 미닫이 문이라 프라이버시 지키는데는 도움이 될 지 모르나 다소 답답한 느낌. 그래도 벽쪽은 창문이 있어서 좀 나았던 듯 하니 예약시 부탁해보심이... 공용거실에 안마의자는 저녁 피곤함도 풀어주고 꿀잠 예약 아이템! 수압짱인 샤워기로 뜨거운 샤워하고 따뜻한 카모마일 티 한잔마시고 안마 좀 받고 자러가면 내가 쉐어룸에 누워있나 생각하기도 전에 잠들 수 있는 꿀 팁!!!

Logement bien situé, proche des transports et de quelques restaurants ainsi que du Kombini, nous étions deux à y séjourner dans une chambre à la japonaise, c’était confortable et propre. Je recommande!
