Nice range of food from small plates to a la carte and good quality. Lovely rooms clean and well presented and really helpful staff

How refreshing it was to come to a hotel where the staff obviously really do care about the guest experience and what a difference it made to our stay. Thank you all for a wonderful night with dinner and breakfast.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent service and big comfortable rooms. We had paid for half board so were very surprised when we were hit with a ‘discretionary’ service charge when we came to leave. We thought everything had been paid upfront. Dinner was excellent but breakfast was extremely ordinary, No better than at a Premier Inn or equivalent. The excellent service and convenient facilities were somewhat marred by the constant reminders that if we were to take anything home we would have to pay high prices for the replacement. This was particularly ridiculous in relation to a book which had been left in our room, supposedly chosen especially for our enjoyment. It had obviously come from a charity shop for £2.99 and was quite battered. We don’t have a problem with this but apparently had we chosen to bring it home with us. we would’ve been charged £7.50.

Ate in the bar area. Excellent food and knowledgeable about gluten free requirements. Room was well decorated and some nice finishing touches. My only criticism was that the shower should be updated

Beautiful hotel, the most comfortable bed and attentive service from staff. Bartender made the best old fashioned drink my husband has ever had. Will definitely be back

We stayed for a family wedding close by. Beds were very comfortable. Bath could have been cleaner. Otherwise if we needed to be in the Bromsgrove area again, we would definitely come back!

A lovely setting for a quiet break

This was a surprise stop for us, and we were super grateful for it. The hotel had comfortable beds, great food, excellent staffing, and just a really amazing bar (please try the French 75!). Our room was a cold, and they brought us extra blankets and a space heater immediately. Very responsive and attentive to guest needs. Perhaps our only quibble, and I say this to help the staff who must want to tear out their hair during each shift, is with the music: there is a kind of easy listening pop-covers loop that contains about 4 songs. You best like "Torn" a great deal because you will hear it like five times at breakfast. It must be required because when we first entered the bar another set of songs was playing, and was promptly changed to the weird "clone" music.

Excellent hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

This was a weekend stay so we could attend a local event and Worcester. We received a very friendly and helpful reception. The accommodation is beautiful decorated, high quality and very comfortable. We stayed in the Lodge suite, thank you for the upgrade.

There were so many positives about our stay, from the courtesy call from Angela the day before arrival, the check-in where we were personally shown to our room, the extra touches so often missing these days e.g. bathrobes provided, the standard & variety of welcome tray options and complimentary flapjack/fruit. The dinner and service was as amazing, as was the last time we dined. So refreshing as a nut allergy sufferer to have personal information and a dessert option adapted to suit. The only minor negative if I had to find one was the carpet in the bedroom was stained (teabags missing the bin from previous occupant at a guess and needs deep cleaning), but otherwise perfection - well done!

Very friendly and helpful welcome. Really pleasant, relaxing place to stay in picturesque surroundings. We stayed for 2 nights. We'll be back for sure.
