Good for bed , room condition and all other things

This hotel was just average from my perspective. Pros - great location. Pretty quiet given the tram runs out front. Close to a tram stop. Hotel gave us tram passes which was nice. Rooms are large. Cafe in lobby is pretty good. Cons - Very sparsely decorated. Rooms showing some wear. Felt cold (and ironically the heat didn’t seem to work in our room either). No extra blankets in room. Service wasn’t overly friendly or accommodating despite a seemly pretty empty hotel. Beds are pretty firm and not overly comfortable. Overall, I’m really surprised this is a 4 star hotel and that the ratings are so high. I would call this an average/adequate hotel, at best. It was fine for one night for us but there wasn’t anything about it that really impressed me.

Great location for a family

My family of five had the most amazing time at SET residence. Breakfast was amazing and location was perfect to walk everywhere in old town.

Hotel ben posizionato per visitare il centro di Basilea. Il parcheggio dell’hotel è un po’ distante ma comodo. La stanza ben arredata. Molto gradite le Basel card gratuite che danno diritti ai mezzi pubblici e sconti sui musei. Consigliato

Excellent room and hotel, and would love to go back. Excellent service, design and location. Felt at home and also enjoyed the communal spaces such as lobby/bar area, garden and gym. Very welcoming and nice to relax at. Very nice location too, easy to walk to key attractions, restaurants, bars , the river and great access to public transport. Beautiful room and very comfortable too. Plus points for the bikes and the travel card for free public transport and discounts to key attractions. Thank you. Will definitely return :)

We stayed in the new annex across the street from this historic hotel. The room was super clean, modern and quiet. It had a beer bar and small cafe in the ground floor. English speakers on staff were excellent. We ate in the historic restaurant and that was great, if pricey. Easily walkable to campus and old part of town with classic architecture. Right on tram line. We stayed one night before getting on Rhine River Cruise.

Hotel a quelque minutes de l aéroport en transport en commun. A 5 min de la gare de train. Plein choix de resto et épicerie a pieds. Grande chambre avec frigo et plaque a induction. Vraiment un coup de coeur!

A lovely hotel, the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasurable. Would stay here again in Basel.

It is adjacent to the music academy so convenient for auditions and parents visiting

Wonderfully QUIET convenient area, directly on tram #3 stop. Rooms were well appointed and staff very friendly. Breakfast was across the street in their other hotel and was very good. Appreciated the air conditioning
