Resort is stunning, location is perfect. Food and drinks were amazing and we enjoyed the live music on Thursday and Saturday in the lounge. Hot tub and pool were cool. The room itself was massive, renovated, and had lots of amenities. Only thing that could be better is a bit more food options in the lounge, since it’s sometimes hard to get reservations at Currents. Spectacular resort and we hope to be back!

The 1 bedroom suite was perfect in that it was well stocked in the kitchen, offered everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was very modern, clean and luxurious. A couple of things to note. The tv screens were not well placed; could not watch TV without straining your neck as the TV sets were mounted very high. The lighting in the kitchen was also very dark. We expected to be able to walk to restaurants or grocery stores. Everything was 15 mins walk or a short 3 mins drive.there is a Co Op grocery store that is 3 mins drive away which supplied snacks and dinner. Skip the dishes delivery was also not available. We ordered dinner for take out at Currents, the restaurant which had great fish but the french fries could be improved. The resort also had food bowls, treats and a dog bed for our furry one which was wonderful. If you wanted "Full Service" more than once every 5 days, you need to inform the desk. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this resort if you are looking to treat yourself.

The natural beauty of were the resort is located is stunning! Overlooking the waves crashing into the shoreline never got old from either the bar/lounge or restaurant on the property or if you're lucky enough to see it from your room. Steps away from the beach were we watched an absolutely beautiful sunset, and easy to walk trales from the property kept us exploring the breathtaking views. Food at the restaurant was delicious, but we wish the lounge/bar had more options for snacks other then a 40 dollar cheese/charcuterie board. We found the resort very quiet and feeling quiet empty even for being fully booked which was nice. We had an excellent time are will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at the Black Rock for 2 nights and I wish it were longer! It was the perfect base to have in the area and for going up to Tofino. Dinner in the restaurant was gorgeous and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend getting the ocean view to make the most of your time there!

Beautiful location with a bar and restaurant overlooking the ocean We had a rainforest’ room and wee on the second floor so we were staring at trees … But very private I would definitely upgrade to an oceanfront view if sitting outside on your own balcony enjoying your own cocktail is what you like

Friendly Staff

Very clean room but there were a few really big mosquitos in our room upon checking in (like 4-5). Otherwise everything else was clean and the staff were very friendly. We had dinner and breakfast at the currents restaurant on the property which was yummy.
