At first, when we arrived late at 2.00 AM. The first room we've got has no heater. There's no LED light or sign of working, so the room was freaking cold. We went back to the reception again to change the room. And then everything seemed OK with the warming heater. The room is quite old and a lot if dirts, not well cleaned. So this must be improved. The breakfast is great, variety of choices with good qualities. I'm a Radisson's gold member, that has gold benefits, such as complementary room upgrade, late check-out, free bottle of water in room but I haven't got any benefits from all 2 night-stays. Before we went to Longyearbyen, I sent an e-mail to this hotel for asking about Gold Member benefits and the hotel sent me back with member status noted for benefits. That's why we chose this hotel for one of our vacation stays. Especially check-time is 11.00 am so I've tried to ask for check out at 12.00 am with Gold member guest's benefit because the airport bus will come to pick us at 12.45 but the hotel denied for this request. So I feel very disappointed to choose the Radisson this time. No upgraded room, no late check-out, no any gold benefits at all. Compared with the Radisson Oslo Plaza hotel that we stayed before, this's much better. So please improve the room's qualities and services to get close to Radisson's.

Kjempehyggelig betjening, rent og hyppig renhold. Kjempegod mat og perfekt beliggenhet til sentrum. Vi kommer tilbake

Good property with jacuzzi facilities. Nice restaurant. Had a beautiful view from restaurant. Staff was polite and helpful.

The staff are wonderful. Beds are comfortable. Showers have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The restaurant offers great food at breakfast and dinner. The pub has fantastic food as well.

The staff were so attentive and nice. Beds were very comfortable and the water was HOT!! The food in the pub and restaurant was excellent. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Das Radisson Blu Polar ist auf jeden Fall ein gutes Hotel um eine fantastische Zeit in Spitzbergen zu verbringen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und gut. Das Bad ist jedoch schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück ist lecker und völlig ausreichend. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Buchung vom Whirlpool nur bis 19 Uhr. Viele Touren dauern den ganzen Tag und daher wäre die Möglichkeit einer Buchung des Whirlpools bis 21 Uhr vielleicht sinnvoller.

Great place and great staff. Flash restaurant, gastro pub, sauna and jacuzzi. Rooms good. There did seem to be a shortage of hot water in the room though.

Fantastiske ansatte. Blide og hyggelige. Savner nattbord/hylle ved sengen. Savner også hylle til å legge fra seg toalettsaker ved vasken på badet. Upraktisk å legge ting på gulvet. Det trekker ned opplevelsen av rommet. Og veldig små rom

Excelente ubicación para caminar tanto por el centro como al Svalbard Museum y la orilla del mar. Es muy cómodo que su bar cierra hasta las 2am y su desayuno buffet es muy completo. Las habitaciones 'superior' cuentan con baño renovado, las habitaciones 'standard' tienen una tina y regadera un poco incomodas.
