Lovely hotel just 2 mins from a local beach and a very good selection of bars and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Our room 406, had great sea views with a generous balcony. Pool area was well presented and with plenty of shade. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

Jag bokade och betalade för ett rum, men kom fram tidigare än ordinarie incheckningstid. Tyvärr fick jag inte tillgång till rummet och eftersom jag aldrig kunde checka in kan jag inte bedöma vare sig rummet, frukosten eller hotellets övriga faciliteter. Det som gjorde mig mest besviken var hur situationen hanterades. Trots att vistelsen redan var betald fanns det ingen vilja att hitta en lösning eller visa någon flexibilitet. Jag fick varken använda rummet eller någon återbetalning. För ett hotell som ger ett så fint första intryck hade jag förväntat mig betydligt bättre service och ett mer professionellt bemötande. Det är extra tråkigt eftersom personalen jag mötte var vänlig och försökte hjälpa till. Tyvärr räcker inte det när hotellets policy går före gästens upplevelse. Därför kan jag tyvärr INTE rekommendera hotellet. Om du planerar att komma före ordinarie incheckning – var noga med att läsa villkoren. Räkna inte med någon flexibilitet, även om du redan har betalat för din vistelse. Från en mycket besviken hotellgäst. 😢

Lovely spot, clean and convenient. A very nice room. Closeby beach was a treat. Breakfast was nice.

This is a nice modern hotel right near the beach and port. We had a view of the water and could walk to old town easily. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us helpful answers to our tourist questions and were always available. Chania was a charming city that we wish we had one more night at. We would stay here again if we ever make it back.

Everything was great, as long as you get the seaview side for your room.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Hyperion City Hotel & Spa in Chania. The hotel is modern, spotless, and in a fantastic location—just a short walk from the Old Town while still being in a quieter area by the sea. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, always greeting us with a smile and offering great recommendations. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. We also appreciated the pool and spa facilities, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Crete. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania!

The hotel was newer but already had some wear and tear in the rooms with stains on the chairs and curtains. It overall was nice though- with amenities more similar to US hotels. The room had thin walls and we could hear guests next to us watch tv and pull items into the outlet. The breakfast was lovely. Great variety and fresh. Pool was nice and often not being used. It was a good location with a view of the water. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the parking garage which we weren’t able to use for our 5 night stay. They said you have to make a reservation and it was unavailable, but you can’t make a reservation until you get there. The front desk person laughed at me when I asked. We were able to find street parking easily most days but it was much harder in the evenings. The spa was okay. It seems like you can make a reservation online but you can’t. You have to call or talk to the staff when you arrive and then prepay. It was the lightest massage I’ve ever had even after asking for deeper pressure.

Dårlig basseng, frokosten hadde lite utvalg. Beliggenhet var ok. Ansatte var flinke og hjelpsomme. Fint rom.

Biggest complaint is not allowing more than one key card without a $20 deposit. You need to drop that policy real quick. Switch out the motion sensors for the bathroom. They are not good and the overall lighting in the bathroom is terrible. I understand trying to be 'green" but this isn't the way.

Had a great time! Huge thank you to the women at the reception desk. Both of them gave us great advice on how to make our trip unforgettable!

👍das Personal war sehr freundlich und professionell; die Lage ist sehr gut, da kurze Fußwege zu zahlreichen Tavernen, einen kleinen Strand und über eine schöne Promenade zur wunderschönen Altstadt; traumhafter Meerblick von der der 4. Etage oder höher (auf höhere Kategorie mit Meerblick achten); das Frühstück war okay 👎die Tiefgarage (Auforeis 10€/N.) ist selbst für geübte Autofahrer eine Herausforderung-ist sollte man nach meiner Erfahrung unbedingt nur mit einem kleinere Fahrzeug wie Kia Picanto o.ä. reinfahren, da diese Tiefgarage sehr eng ist; nach unserem Bedürfnis fehlen im Badezimmer Haken und im Wohnbereich weitere Ablagen für Kleidung)

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Most importantly, the front desk staff were wonderful very knowledgeable about the area and extremely helpful. The location was very convenient and accessible to everything, especially the beach and the beautiful lighthouse. They welcomed us with drinks and cookies, and the hotel had everything we needed, including slippers, a hair dryer, an iron, and a refrigerator.We loved this hotel. Highly recommend.

I really appreciate the receptionist Elene who helped to plan 7 days of staying in the hotel and visiting the different places. The hotel location is perfect for direct access to the beach and to the harbour with very good restaurants. The one thing that definitely requires improvement is breakfast and room service food. Food is poor and tasteless.

Mindre hotel midt i byen, 10 min. gå afstand til Old City. Rigtig god placering. Indretning med flere elevatorer var lidt bøvlet. Parkeringskælder er kun for små mikrobiler.
