Lovely big room and good just below so we didn't have to travel far in bad weather

Amazing staff very helpfull

We spent a couple of days in the family room. My girls (7 and 13) were delighted by the room, as were my husband and I. We didn't want to leave! The family room was gorgeous and modern with luxurious touches, and yet a very practical setup. The room was immaculate, which is something that I always dread when staying away from home, so that was such a relief! Hats off to the cleaning team! It was also so refereshing to spend time in property that isn't part of a chain company. We travelled to Barry Island, which was an hour away during a lunchtime commute. There's so much to travel to in relation to sight seeing a stones throw away. We definitely didn't mind the distance because the comfort that the room provided us with was wonderful. We ate at the bistro next door and the food was fab - something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back! :)

Great night sleep. Only downside shower leaked all over floor & a big spider weed on ceiling. Didnt stop us having a good visit.

Overall stay very good. Stayed in a single room. Mattress and pillows could do with being renewed as uncomfortable, but room very clean and modern.

Great location very quiet and remote. Impressive breakfast.

Friendly staff

Clean, fashionably newly refurbished rooms. Great food and selection of reasonably priced drinks. Made a real effort for the recent Eisteddfod when we stayed. Highly recommend. Diolch yn fawr

Nicely maintained property above a pub. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here while in the area.

We were booked into a show and needed somewhere to stay for the night. Couldn’t have been more happy with the room which had everything we needed. Enjoyed a meal downstairs too. Would stay again.

Really nice rooms, lovely food downstairs and the Greggs voucher for breakfast was class

Clean room in an old building. Lots of stairs, no lift. No one at the desk so needed to go into the attached pub to get help when checking in and throughout our stay

Big modern rooms on street parking been on three separate visits parked with 20mtrs max go to bar to get booked in then get bags from vehicle breakfast voucher for greggs 300yds from hotel good menu

Room ok except floor very dirty/dusty. No parking. Noisy room above bar. Room not serviced properly. Breakfast was 3 x Greggs vouchers worth £5 each for 2 people for 3 days.

Excellent hotel and beautiful room
