Amazing palace to stay, with great and friendly staff. The staff went out of there to make me feel welcomed and Marrakesh. They also gave good insight to activities and spots to visit. They also warn you about Hustlers that will try to show you the way to hotel, they charged me $20 for 5 minutes of time (as I sadly found out because I didn’t listen). They are persistent everywhere in Marrakesh and not just limited to the hotels, don’t let them follow you and don’t interact with them.

Great little riad! Very clean, spacious for 2 ( we had twin beds) & large bathroom. We had a really good breakfast everyday, Youseff was amazing, attentive and Sooooo helpful! He gave us directions, recommendations and great tips for the area! Ali was wonderful and sweet as well! The riad was very close to everything! Thank you team Riad Papillion for a memorable atay!!!!

The riad was great, the manager wonderful, the breakfast delicious and generous. I wish I had more knowledge of the taxi system and baggage retrieval, we thought we were being robbed but it was actually a helper!

Our stay at Riad Papillon was truly memorable. The Riad itself is beautiful and comfortable, located in the historic medina. Lovely views of the mountains and the “red city.” It’s so convenient to museums, shops, and restaurants. We could easily walk to most attractions. The staff were warm, helpful, and responsive to all our questions. The morning breakfast table was overflowing with delicious pastries and fresh fruit and all the Moroccan favorites. Hope to return someday!
