The property owner is very nice, but the condition of the outside of the house was surprising. There are several old trailers along the driveway, old lumber, trash and old building supplies. There is one bedroom on the main level and bathroom with the only shower downstairs. Upstairs has three VERY small bedrooms and an usual bathroom with a tub. During our summer stay, the house was stifling humid and hot with no AC in the house. The beds were not especially comfortable, similar to an inexpensive motel. The home and furnishings are generally worn past their due date, but its a clean and dry place to sleep. The home is right on the ferry road, which has great views, but could be a concern for families with small children.

We were two families with children and dogs and this was a perfect spot to stay for two nights. It had a beautiful view of the basin and two minutes from the ferry terminal. The owner was very welcoming and available 24/7. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The backyard was fenced so we could let the dogs out without worrying.
