ODDSON Downtown is a perfect option for those looking for a quiet, understated but still comfortable and cozy stay in Rvk. If you're an ambitious walker like me who prefers privacy and adventure, this location is excellent, with easy access to 24 stores, groceries, bus stops, and dinner options. There's usually parking in the area, even if it's not the ODDSON spaces, but be careful to avoid the reserved spots directly next door. The kitchen is perfect, the bathroom is small but clean, and the bed is super cozy. With Icelandic heating, you can keep a window open at all times, which feels refreshing. The staff are responsive, my only complaint is the late check-in time, so definitely recommend booking the day before you arrive if your flight lands early in the morning.

Fully equipped, well-designed kitchen was a game changer! Plenty of parking and centrally located. Highly recommend!

The room was cozy and beautiful. We love it! However, we had a disaster. The bathtub leaked and the water ran into the kitchen. We were shocked and had to dry the place. The staff were helpful. They came to check and relocated us to another room. The repair was done in a short time and we decided to stay in the same room. What a memorable Christmas!

Room was very good. But the location and the lack of reception area, not even a chair with virtual reception help, is not for seniors or people with mobility issues who don't drive

Room was spacious, clean. Location was great too. Bonus point: you have bakery connected to the hotel if you want to get some quick breakfast and coffee.

Reception was very nice and accommodating however, room is horrible. Awkward floor plan of room. TV facing away from bed. Only one side table by bed, garbage next to tiny closet not by kitchen. Only 3 towels various sizes. Bathroom size is sand size as bedroom. No need of large bathroom, could’ve been built for living room. Two wooden chair was old and uncomfortable. Looks worn out from second hand store. Very very disappointing for over $100-$200 per night for holidays.

The room and the amenities were great. I did have problems with my door code that was very frustrating since I had an evening stuck outside for 10 minutes until a staff came. Customer service was friendly and quick to respond. The room was nice I’d say the only bad parts were the shower door kind of awkwardly opened to make it hard to get out onto the towel & no nightstands.

Lovely warm room. Good kitchen facilities and comfortable beds.

The room was better than expected

Room was decent. Location was good (we drove most places, but it seemed that it should have been walkable). I'm old school and didn't like the lack of reception area - we arrived early but there was really no place to store our luggage and the key pad outside was temperamental.

There was dust EVERYWHERE. One window was left open. The keypad would not work in one go. Parking was available; that was the only plus.

Very comfortable bed. Easy parking. Clean. Good range and quality of kitchen equipment. Glass door to toilet by bed meant no privacy - not pleasant for either of the room occupants. Nowhere to hang wet coats. Lack of light in kichen area. Well stocked storage cupboard for paper towels, etc, on ground floor, but not publicised.

Clean room! Even though they don't have a front desk, everything we wanted was responded to immediately through email. We asked for extra pillows and they were there when we got back. They are veey attentive and there are no lines to wait on to make a requeat.

The hotel was clean and close to downtown? About a 10 minute walk.

Location was great and everything was within walking distance. Plenty of free parking available. Communication for remote entry was easy to follow. Each room seemed to be different (boutique hotel). The bathroom in our room was extremely small while others was very spacious. Overall I think the value was good

We enjoyed our stay. Nice location, within walking distance to shopping. Kitchenette provided everything we needed. Very good bakery downstairs.
