08:00-09:30 Pick up from hotels located in central Chiang Mai and take a scenic drive to Lampang

•

09:30-10:00 Arrive at Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao, a meticulous pagoda that housed the world renown Emerald Buddha image for more than thirty years

•

10:00-11:30 Travel around the town and admire the ruins of the city wall dated back to 19th century and enjoy the history when Lampang was a bustling teak trading center

•

11:30-13:00 Take a lunch break and continue traveling around Lampang by visiting Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, the city historic temple and the epitome of Lanna architecture

•

13:00-14:00 Continue to explore the northern region and visit Lamphun, one of Thailand’s oldest cities dating back to 700 AD. Marvel at Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, a classic Lanna style architecture.

14:00-15:30 Make the final stop at Wat Jamathewi, which houses the ashes of Lamphun’s first ruler, Queen Jamathewi and head out of Lamphun

15:30-17:00 Travel on a scenic road back to Chiang Mai and take with you the knowledge of Lanna history and the memorable experience
