Royalton CHIC Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort – Adults Only

I personally had a great time. They do need to work on a few things, but all and all I would go back.

We found the resort was at a good standard and all the staff were super friendly to make sure your stay was enjoyable. The fitness team were great every morning. VIBE team were vibing and the star on the restaurant front was JennaStar always welcoming with a friendly smile. Management these are the people that make your hotel memorable so please pass on our thanks to these guys and reward as you see fit

The resort itself was beautiful, staff was awesome (Miguela and Sheresse top notch), We had the Diamond package but they just ran out of things too much… there was a limit on some foods and certain top shelf liquors were not available early in the day. We ordered room service one night and we were told there were no french fries, how is that possible. We went out to the pool at 10 AM and the towel stand told us there were no towels to go to the other stand.Things like that stood out, But the resort was gorgeous and has great potential if they fix those little things…

I loved the amenities and the Vibe Team. The water was beautiful and well maintained with no seaweed. Would definitely come again.

All of my issues with this booking was documented and emails will be sent. Terrible experience for the price I paid. I will be contacting Expedia and my credit cards once land in New York

The resort is small. There’s not many activity options. The food is subpar and it’s not many food option. The customer service is not the best.

Staff were amazing and very funny. They made my stay amazing. Beach and pool weren’t crowded at all either.

This hotel has a mix of good and bad. The public spaces & the rooms are new, clean & pretty. The service in the specialty restaurants was OK. The beach is nice but that is where the good part of the experience ends. The service overall here leaves much to be desired. On our first day we asked an employee where the main buffet restaurant was and he didn't know. We went to dine in the Haven Grill first because our room wasn't ready (after 3 pm,) the waitress took our order then came back several minutes later and said they didn't have what we ordered (which was on the menu.) She should have told us that at the beginning. I asked for Club Soda and were told they ran out. How does a bar run out of club soda? The boutique was closed in the middle of the day and we asked 3 staff in the area if they knew when it would reopen and they didn't know. We saw a staff member coming out of the doors later and she said she was "on her lunch break" and didn't answer when the store would reopen. The bartenders were hit or miss. One just pointed to my husband after he stood for a long time waiting to be served. In the buffet restaurant at dinner one night (with less than 10 people in the entire restaurant) I asked the server for an additional piece of chicken and she said NO. We ate at the food truck and the fan wasn't working so the grill was smoking. We felt awful for the cook who was less than friendly when taking & providing our order. Too many other bad service experiences to mention.

It was amazing. the staff was helpful, the food was so good. the whole experience was great!!! Diamond club I can't wait to return.

The property was very nice and the staff was excellent.

Overall staff was extremely nice, property very clean. However the extra I paid for butler service was a waste; poor communication, i felt like I had to seek them out vs this same service I had at the Royalton st Lucia. When they booked me in a restaurant that was closed they didn’t help find other spot; room service was 2hrs late;

Staff were helpful and friendly

The food (buffet) is very mediocre. The lunch and dinner is very limited selection and food is always cold unless it’s something that is made on grill. The restaurants are very good. Enjoyed the steakhouse and Italian restaurants. Book early as soon as you get to the property because they fill up fast. I was told by the check in, Alicia I believe her name was that told me to book right away and I did. She was great. Rooms are clean but are in the smaller side. Requested a king bed but was given “queens” felt more like a full, which was hard for both of us to be comfortable in bed.

The property was well maintained and the customer service was great. The food was good but I believe the buffet should have had more local dishes. One thing my GF and I hated was the fact that there were no irons and you had to fight to get a steamer to press our clothing. They did not clean our room everyday and and the plates that guest left outside of the rooms took too long to be picked up. Housekeeping need to do a better job.

I had high expectations for the Royalton Chic Antigua, but unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the service fell far below acceptable standards for a resort of this caliber. Despite arriving before 3 PM, I was not given access to my room until after 4:30 PM with no real explanation or apology. This was just the beginning of a series of frustrating issues. The food was average at best—nothing special and certainly not what you'd expect from a luxury resort. Room service was incredibly slow, often taking an unreasonably long time to arrive. The minibar was barely replenished and only if you made a specific request, which became tiresome. Housekeeping didn’t happen unless I asked for it directly, which is unacceptable for a resort that claims to offer premium service. Another major issue was the constant presence of mosquitoes everywhere, which made it very difficult to relax comfortably, especially in the evenings. To top it off, despite all the delays and slow service during the stay, the hotel seemed overly eager to push me out on the final day. I received multiple calls and knocks on the door regarding my checkout—when I was leaving, who was collecting my bags, etc. It felt rushed and even harassing. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. For the price and promise of a premium experience, the lack of basic hospitality and attention to guest comfort was incredibly disappointing.

The resort needs work as far as staff, cleaning, stocking of items and the app.
