APX Darling Harbour

A quiet spot with easy access to the city and Darling Harbour. A little gem. Good size studio apartment.

Stayed just one night. Check-in was easy. The room was fine, it worked perfectly for a quick layover.

Worst customer service and refused in the rain with a newborn cause not having digital id and non refunded

Great location but no scenery ,

When we arrived, which was early afternoon, there were no staff at the desk, we then waited 15 mins to be checked in. The room certainly needs upgrades...a rusted fridge, mouldy grout in the bathroom/shower. Our room door needed to be slammed to shut. You are simply paying for location with this one.

Uncomfortable beds, strange linen choice (Sheet, Duvet & Sheet), and made bed more uncomfortable. Very Slow internet, constantly disconnecting & eventually reconnecting

The reception staff were lovely, they really excelled! The location is great for access the ICC and central Sydney. My room was clean and spacious. My only issue was the hot water, I would turn the water on and get slightly warm water and then it went cold. I got told by reception to leave it on for 5 minutes and it should go hot, it didn’t. I ended up sending an email of complaint and they did give me some money back which was appreciated. On the final day before I left the shower did get warm after running the water for over 5 minutes. A big waste of water. This was a real shame as honestly it was otherwise a great place to stay.

Hotel was close to the entrance of Chinatown. Within walking distance of a variety of food choices. Close to local transportation. Only complaints were no instructions in room on how to use the hotel app to contact staff. The safe was non functioning for a new passvode.

It was ok

This hotel is located near Chinatown, in one of the older areas of Sydney. The surrounding neighbourhood has a wide variety of restaurants, with plenty of food options to choose from. However, the hotel itself is not worth the money. The property feels old, outdated, and poorly maintained. Rooms lack proper upkeep, the facilities are below expectations, and the overall standard does not match the price being charged. While the location is convenient for accessing Chinatown and nearby attractions, the quality and value of the stay are disappointing.

Great hotel in a perfect location. Staff were very helpful and I would happily go back. It’s a shame I was only staying one night.

Great value for money Close to ICC. China town

Location was great as we love china town on welcome customer service wasn’t great not a friendly welcome and called 3 times with no response bout parking room was good size but tv was limited to 3 channels wake up to no hot water so cold shower was what we had such a let down for our romantic get away

The room was fine but the mattress was very hard and old. The worst mattress i have ever triedto sleep on.

The male staff looked like Indians. The service was very good. The room was very spacious. I was happy.

Great place. Right in China Town.

The street where this motel is located, this is not the fault of APX motel group, it's more to do with the local council and surrounding buildings/restaurants to keep the street to a reasonably clean condition, rental bikes blocking the narrow footpath, cigarette butts all over the place doesn't make for a very appealing welcome to the neighbourhood.

Have stayed at this property a few times when we visit the city. The location will leave you speechless. The room was clean and the balcony makes it even more special. Big thanks to Kareem for assistance with check in and knowledge of the city(recommendations). We will be back.
