Cronulla Motor Inn

This place was fine. If you are going to stay here, understand that the property is old, so the taps leak, the toilet seat is pealing, but the beds are comfortable, the staff are nice and it is very close to the beach. I honestly wouldn’t stay here again as I don’t think it was worth the price. I would stay in Sydney (Edgecliff Motel) and come to Cronulla Beach for the day.

The room was filthy, I had to wipe down surfaces before we could put our things on the benches, dried food, coffee rings and general dirt Under the beds were had not been cleaned in I don’t know how long Basin in the bathroom had all toothpaste marks from previous guests Filthy bathroom floor and long black hair on the floor Broken toilet roll holders so toilet rolls are on the back of the toilet No bath mat or washers provided Minor fridge was rusted on the outside, frozen and iced on the inside and froze the food we put in there

The room I stayed in was refurbished, clean and tidy. Would stay their again as the property offers value for money when compared to other hotels in Cronulla area

I’d like to start with the positives, good location, bed was clean, hot water, but unfortunately, instant odour on entry of room, the bathroom/kitchen areas were not cleaned prior to our arrival, visible long black hair on floors, toothpaste spit on tap and mirror, hot plate area not cleaned, food and fat splashes visible, Fan in main bedroom rubbing badly on light fitting and could not be used, extra fridge closed and turned off and smelt bad, mirror in bathroom extremely loose as unused soap dispenser attached, tap leaking and running onto floor, toilet seat peeling badly needing replacement, dampness under sink in kitchen and cockroaches roaming everywhere, No washing up detergent, tea towel or shower mat. Otherwise reception staff were very pleasant.

Easy access to each and national park, ok for a 1 or 2 night stop but no more

This motel is unnecessarily dirty over priced and a filty below standard property. At $200 for the night and a $50 charge for a late checkout when we departed at 1044. I cannot recomment thos property. Everyone staying woke with sore throats.

Premises are dirty and unkempt, reception is smells and is dirty. Garden beds and pathways,cigarette butts and rubbish, dead plants , long grass, breezeways stained and dirty. That being said rooms are very clean and staff are courteous.

We had little interaction with the staff and what we had was acceptable. The place has had no maintenance in years and everyting seemed to be broken or missing including soap dishes in shower toilet roll holder and bathroom access door. The toilet required multiple flushing. We would not stay there again.

The room was fine except there was an alarming amount of cockroaches. Rooms need to be sprayed ASAP. i had cockroaches and other bugs even through my luggage.

Older hotel, but new bathroom and was clean. Good location, convenient parking, walk to beach. TV didn't receive channels, trundle bed had no wheels, a few repairs needed

I stayed at a motel located in the middle of one of Sydney’s best beaches, Cronulla, priced at $165 per night. Staying at a motel by the ocean sounded like a great idea. However, the experience was extremely disappointing. The key card did not work, so I had to return to the office. The staff member on duty tried to open the room but was unable to. The card had to be reprogrammed, which took about 15 minutes. The bedside lamps were not working. The staff had to change the light bulbs and bring extension cords from the office. In the shower, there were used soap and shampoo left by the previous guest, which is completely unacceptable and unhygienic. The shower taps were positioned very low, almost at floor level, supposedly for convenience. The bed, mattress, pillows, and carpet smelled strongly of dampness and mold, making it impossible to sleep. As a result, I arrived at work exhausted, angry, and sleep-deprived. Due to these serious issues and the unacceptable condition of the room, I am requesting a refund for this stay.

Room was good

We had a pleasant stay at Cronulla Motor Inn. The room was clean, spacious, and had two separate rooms, which was perfect for our family of four. It was comfortable and suited our needs well. The only downside was that the stove was not working, and the TV remote didn’t have batteries. Overall, it was still a good stay and a convenient option for families.

Bad parking spaces, rooms old and poorly maintained (rusty sink, dripping shower, broken tiles etc)

Room was not very clean, privacy was poor if the curtains were open, no toilet paper on arrival, walls were grubby.

Very run down

Syringes everywhere around. Beds were horrific, fridge didnt work. Staff didnt care. Shouldnt be allowed to opperate. Worrst place ive ever stayed
