Dubbo Centrepoint Motel

Centerpoint is well located in central dubbo. Its good that it is not directly on the highway, but 100 yards down a side street. Room was fine. self contained so i catered my own breakfasts. Comfortable stay

Convenient cooking facilities for a long stay. TV need to upgrade, good that this motel provide good quality body wash & shampoo and not the disposal tidy ones.

The property looks like it is looked after well. the kitchenette was well stocked to prepare a meal for one to two people. Bed comfortable. However issues with hot water, whilst having a shower the hot water went cold, Brrrr. Management notified and think there is an ongoing issue with the hot water system. Shame otherwise happy to stay again.

I’m happy with my time there,the only thing is,the dog area could have some sort of cover for when it rains,I also have a little problem with ants on the kitchen bench,it could or been the rain.Thankyou so much for being dog friendly 👏👏👏👏😁😁

We stayed in room 6 which is a pet friendly room. It did smell a bit like wet dogs but it wasn’t too bad.

it was clean and quiet,just what we were looking for

On arrival I was greeted by a machine to get our key. Didn’t like the shower that wet the entire bathroom floor and the wet tiles were slippery. Didn’t like the cockroaches in the kitchenette and elsewhere. Didn’t like the sign on the wall telling us to do our washing up. I did appreciate one thing tho. I had mistakenly booked one night instead of two and we were allowed to stay in the same room for the extra night so that we didn’t have to move, unfortunately, the extra night was $30 dearer. Our stay was disappointing because we had stayed at Centrepoint previously and were so impressed that we were happy to revisit but the room quality has dropped its highly unlikely that we will stay there again.

I found the motel comfortable. I only had one night.

Good, older type rooms

The room is too dirty! Blankets are not clean! We felt itchy when lying down on the mattress! The toilet didn’t clean as well!

Through online Wotif charge was $146 but in the invoice, they charged $157. Just for the invoice or for the gov money $11 extra doesn't sound fair. Air condition was not working properly and there was no bedside reading light.

Very suitable for small families but if you do not like stairs then I’d rethink booking at this place.

A bit smelly and lots of insects in the room

I stayed in room, 5. I will never stay at this establishment again. As a former professional cleaner for a motel, the cleanliness of my room was atrocious. I was going to an important event the night I stayed there, and was putting on my nice sandals when I discovered that the bottom of my feet were black like I had walked around the block on the black tar road. I had been in the room, half an hour and had to wash my feet before putting on my sandals. Upon returning to the room, I’d noticed that the cleaners had not checked behind the bathroom door, to which there was a wet floor mat and wet handtowel left from previous occupiers, however, when I approached reception, the lady was very nice and apologetic and accommodating with new bath mats and towels. I had noticed a pink blob on the kitchen floor and thinking I had spilt something, I proceeded to wipe the kitchen floor with a wet wipe that I carry with Me and with two swipes of my hand on the floor, the wet wipe was black. Now for a floor to be that filthy dirty, it would not have been cleaned for months. Literally. Upon inspecting the rest of the room, it had barely been vacuumed And none of the doorhandles light switches, remote control, handles on the kettle etc had been wiped due to feeling sticky and looking grubby AF. We had to wear our shoes, the entire time being in the room. And the room smelled like kitty litter. Do not recommend.
