Pacific Bay Resort

Loved staying here! Only big bear was not having a daily replenishment of dishwashing powder and toiletries etc.

The staff were lovely... very accommodating. However the rooms and facilities are in desperate need of updating... the property grounds are well kept ...but everything else is very tired. The rooms are NOT serviced. And don't accidentally unplug the Wi-Fi (there is a small sticker advising that ... but you will need your glasses and to move the furniture to see it ;)

Very pleased with our recent stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The front desk reception staff were excellent and we enjoyed a lovely meal at the restaurant.

We usually stay here for the convenience of being close to family, but unfortunately our last three visits have been disappointing. The rooms have not been cleaned thoroughly, and the showers consistently show visible mould. Overall, the standard of cleanliness has been poor.

Pros: Quiet location, lovely outlook to bushland, parking undercover. Bayside Grill and Bar good (as usual). We stay at this resort regularly. Cons: A disappointing stay this time as the apartment (2602) needs proper maintenance to bring it up to an acceptable level for the price charged. The apartment looks a lot better in the pictures than actually in reality Apartment is not as clean as it should be! Bedhead (and top end of mattress near it) on left side of the bed needs a good clean to remove stains. More than a single small towel rack is needed in the bathroom (for 2 towels). Mould in the bathroom. Venetian blind in bedroom badly damaged (needs replacing). Drapes difficult to draw closed in both rooms. Lounge room screen door to balcony damaged - cannot be closed properly. Remote controls for both TVs don’t work unless you stand right up close to the TV. Double power point (with ‘old’ lamp plugged in) in lounge area doesn’t work. Tested both outlets and lamp works in kitchen power points ok. Not enough power points in any room and no usb charging power points at all. Not recommended this time.

Beautiful place

A great location, which was very important and the cleanliness was great and finally the view was great and so was the staff. The locality was excelkent

It's nice, but quite old now. Food was delicious but not enough variety.

The unit was pleasant , however the bath / shower combination was not suitable for older people . Breakfast was good but there was a 5 minute walk from our unit and it was not all under cover . Undercover parking was limited and you had to park early to get a spot . I don’t think we would stay there again .

No parking, parking lot needs an upgrade. Rooms need renovation

The staff were very friendly & helpful but the place is looking very old & worn - the whole place ds a new paint job & some updating. The restraunt foor was pretty good but no room service was dissapointing. It would have been nice to be able to have (at least) a pizza delivered

We have stayed here a few times now. Lovely resort, close to the shopping centre and beautiful beaches. The onsite bar and restaurant are great.

Extensive gardens which was nice. Rooms, lifts, entrance ways tired and in need of a lot of TLC. Breakfast at $28 was so so.

Property is very tidy but a little tired

The front desk staff were very helpful and so was the barman. The resort is dated but clean. Bed in our unit was very comfortable and the insuite laundry was great to have !

Unfortunately full restaurant menu for dinner or breakfast was not available due to kitchen renovations.

Lovely place to stay, convenient to Coff Harbour as required but a lovely environment in itself.

I cannot speak highly enough on how accomodating, helpful and cheerful the staff were. Nothing was a problem. Everyone, from the checkin staff to the waitresses and bar staff were so lovely. It was such a nice experience to see that they all seemed to genuinely enjoyed their work and want to make your stay a pleasant experience.

The bar shut too early and the music become depressing in the restaurant. Beautiful area to visit.
