The hotel is a new idea grafted on to an older building. Readily apparent when you are confronted with sash windows which don't work all that well. Car parking is the worst aspect of the place: an 80 room hotel has just 20 speces reserved in a nearby building. Essential to book your spot. Rooms are not serviced daily if you have just a Queen Room. Neither of these features was obvious until you have actually booked or turned up in person. Not good enough. Also it was just too expensive especially when you add a $40 per day parking fee. There is quite a good restaurant in the foyer with a limited but good wine list- not overly expensive. There are easier places to stay in Canberra! Particularly if you are a motorist. The internet connection is not secure also. Staff are a bright spot. Endlessly helpful, cheerful and efficient.

Loved this hotel! The staff were super welcoming and helpful, from check-in to check-out. Even though my stay was short, it was really enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel with that extra special feeling. Personnel were helpful and friendly. Ideally situated close to the park, museum, CBD and a 20 min walk to botanical gardens! - This is our favourite hotel in Cannberra, we will keep teturning.

I still don't understand how a hotel doesn't have parking. Entered the room and the is a large fake leather bedhead that should of been removed 12 months ago. Stained and warn curtains, not a good look.

Walls were mould, bed head was literally shedding. Receptions staff gives no information and instructions about included breakfast. I had booked parking, then they tell us it’s not available. Then somehow parking becomes available.

Booked for 2 beds when checked the day before I was told that was not what I booked when I know I did . They offered a roll out which I did not accept as my son and husband ( grown men ) needed full size beds . They found a room which just fit two very small single beds in them for two men . I paid $664 for 2 nights for this which was not what I paid for . The security lock did not work when they came back late at night . I will not recommend this property and will not return

Overall, the place is okay. The cleanliness is decent, but I noticed the red chair had some dust on it, which was a bit off-putting. The air conditioning was also quite noisy, making it hard to relax fully. On the positive side, the location is very convenient and easy to access. With a bit of attention to detail, this place could be much better.”
