Very good

The place has a great location, very close to the beach. However, guests are required to clean their own kitchenware and take out their own trash, which makes me wonder what exactly is included in the room rate—perhaps just the rent? That being said, it’s very quiet at night. The sound insulation isn’t the best, so it might not be ideal for those who are very sensitive to noise. But if you’re only staying for a short time, it’s still a decent option.

Property was easy to access, was a bit dated, oven was very dirty with food and black oil on the bottom from previous guests, we were going to use it but changed our minds when we saw the condition it was in. We chose to eat out and the restaurant that were walkable distance from the property. Beach was a nice walk, lots of rock pools to explore. The house could do with a better clean of surfaces as it was pretty dusty/dirty. Scum around spa and bathroom and toilet needed a good clean. Double bed was very comfortable. Stairs are very noisy to walk up and down to the bathroom on the lower level. The highlight of our stay was the location of the property close to everything.

The property was not secured when we arrived at past 9pm at night. Patio door was wide open. I tried to call for the location of the specific property and was not able to reach anyone. There was poor lighting and the property number was not marked as the rest of the homes.

Good position with walking to beach front and town centre. People friendly. Enough rooms for our family and good heating. Property was disappointingly old and in need of maintenance.

We thought it was great easy check in out close to shops and restaurants.

Location is good but building needs a bit of update. Toilet was leaking & not fixed.

I took my partner and her family just for one night to stay here. The manager was extremely welcoming and friendly along with her 2x four legged friends. The houses were well equipped and lovely. Amazing location and overall great experience. Highly recommend!

Good location

Excellent location & amenities. However, maintenance is poor: broken Venetian blinds; patio door has dropped & is extremely difficult to shut & lock; gardens poorly maintained; bathroom windows have no winder handle -> passers-by could see into shower & windows couldn't be locked.

The communication from the owners was amazing. They kept us informed and provided us clear instructions prior to arrival. The property had a free washing machine and dryer to use which was a great service. The property was not clean at all, the table was sticky, the crockery was not clean and the inside of the pantry had ring marks from the glasses. The iron kept tripping the power of the property, so we could not use this. The property had a damp/musky smell as soon as we opened the door, even though the window were open. The toilet bowl was loose and was not secure to the floor. I would not recommend staying here at all, as we were quite disappointed.

We loved the beach house! It's been made with such quality and attention to detail. Everything's been thought of and we so quickly felt at ease when we arrived, to the clean, light and bright space. The beach is a few hundreds meters down the road, you can hear it at night- it’s divine. We fell in love with the seaside lifestyle! We will be back and recommend to all who want great accomodation and amenities within the area.

Although the loft terrified my girls (26&16) it was a nice setting - loved the fireplace but would have liked more timber in the wet day/night

Great location and amenities.

The condition of the villa is not well maintained , smells mouldy and kitchen equipment such as stove and kettle are too old, rusty. The room is pretty clean and view is alright from the villa, the location is superb with shops nearby.

Overall, my experience was mixed. On the one hand, the villa was spacious and cozy, which I appreciated. The heat lamps in the bathroom were a nice touch and the amenities all worked well, including the smart TV. The check-in process was also easy and the villa was conveniently located within a short walking distance to the shops. However, there were also several areas for improvement. The air conditioner was positioned directly above the bed, which was not ideal. I was also disappointed to find stains on the bath towel and dandruff on the bed. The tables were sticky and the bed was very hard. Additionally, the villa was nestled in the neighbourhood and did not have an ocean view. Parking was also tight and I could hear other guests late into the night. Finally, I was expected to wash dishes and take out the bins after my stay, which I felt was unreasonable given the high room rate of upwards of $250. The villa also looked tired and in need of maintenance. Overall, while there were some positives, the negatives outweighed them.
