The communal toilets need an overhaul. Been the same for years and not clean

I stayed in the Space Q for 2 nights, knowing full well that for the price it was not going to be a luxury experience. What I didn't expect though was the filthy state that the toilets and showers were in. All 3 toilets were leaking, not cleaned, paper missing etc. The showers were very dirty as well, with leftover bars of soap and underwear strewn everywhere on the floor! There was no soap in the dispenser in the shower I used. Good thing I took my own bar of soap. The capsules have an incredibly thin mattress. I did not expect a lot, however I struggled to sleep given the mattress was so uncomfortable, as was the tiny pillow. There is no top sheet on the mattress, only a base sheet, and there are not blankets. It was 30 degrees in Sydney and once it cooled down, it was actually cold during the night. There is a fan in the capsule, but no heating. I resorted to sleeping in my clothes the second night as I was so cold. Never again.

Booked for 3 night, so noisy, dirty and uncomfortable.. toilets and showers were disgusting, the idea of capsules was cool, just this place was done totally wrong, had to rebook another hotel half way through the first night A tent in the local park would have been better

Reasonable price. Perfect location near Chinatown and transport. Service NEW Just near next to it. Staff can look after ur luggage as well after checked out or before check in. Not super quiet but what can u ask for this price. Great for solo Trip in Sydney CBD

The area was dirty and it smells

Unfortunately due to a flight delay, i missed the staffed reception hours and had no way of checking in or accessing to property, and had to book accommodation elsewhere. There was no information avaliable to get help from the team managing the hostel. Very disappointing and upsetting.

The place is run down, I felt uncomfortable being there since I was by myself. No locks on the showers, was just a glass sliding door and the shower flooded. I had to get changed in the toilet. Dodgy people were there.

セントラル駅から近くて立地はすごく良い。 ただ受付スタッフの対応があまり良くなかった。口頭で説明するのではなく、紙に書かれている文章を読んで、と言われた。少し雑な対応だと感じた。 カプセルは、そこそこの広さがあり鍵も自動でかかり、その点は良かった。しかし、電気の調節が悪いのか、ライトがつかなかったり、空調がつかなかったりという時があり、あまり快適に感じず残念だった。マットレスなどは清潔感があったが、シミがついている部分があり気になった。 他の宿泊者は、荷物を外に置いていたりしていて気になった。中くらいのサイズのロッカーがあるが、大きいスーツケースなどは入らない。特に会話やイビキがうるさかったということはなかったが、ドアの開け閉めが頻繁にあり、その際の音が大きく目が覚める。 常に道路側の窓が開いているので、外の会話、目の前を走る電車の音がかなり聞こえてきて、気になった。 1番気になったのは、シャワーだ。 シャワールームは常に開放されていて、開いている。３つのシャワールームがあったが、私が使ったシャワーはお湯の勢いが極端に弱く、ほぼ使い物にならないものだった。そして、靴や服を置くスペースもちゃんとないので、サンダルや服を入れるボックスなどを持参しないと、とても使いずらい。それに、開放的すぎて他の宿泊者がいると使いずらいと感じた。私は、初日に使ってからはシャワーは使わず、事情を話して友人の家でシャワーを浴びさせてもらった。 トイレは、清潔感が保たれていて綺麗だった。 ある時間帯に警察官がきてトラブルがあったかのような状況があった。とても怖かった思いをしました。何があったかはわからないが、宿泊者であろう方と警察の方が何かを話していた。 これ以来、怖くなって夜はトイレもいけないくらい精神的に追い詰められた。 私のような繊細な人間にはこの宿泊施設は合わないと思った。 こういうことを気にしない人は良いと思うし、値段も安いし立地もかなり良い。 とにかく安く、立地の良い場所に泊まりたいという方にはおすすめです。 少しでも宿泊先の快適さを求めるなら、普通のホテルにすることを薦めます。

I did not have many choices in the last-minute booking during the Sydney marathon period. This property has nothing other than the location. The facility is in worse condition, the bed sheet and the blanket are dirty and full of long hair, even though they changed another one, and I questioned whether they had not been washed. Be honest, the location is the best, it's close to the central station and a walkable area, there are a lot of restaurants surrounding. The staff were nice.

Friendly staff arranged late check-in on the day which I appreciated. Cool concept but inside the pods are a bit worse for wear, mine had dirt in the all corners & the stickers/posters were peeling off, also smelled a bit damp. Floor of the room was dirty. Bedding was clean but hard floor of the pod was quite uncomfortable to sleep on. Really weird cleaning schedule too - the lady came in around 10-11pm & obviously made noise so that was quite disruptive to sleep. Overall just needs better upkeep & maybe some refurbishment but it’s a good alternative to a hostel.

The concept of the pod that I stayed in was excellent. However, I couldn't turn the light off. The after hours check-in was inadequate.

I loved this space capsule! It was nice and clean and so coz. I love that it was cheap and close to both food and public transport! I was only in Sydney for one night so it was just the thing I needed.

Property definitely could be cleaner Felt a bit like I was in a 3rd world hostel The pod was very run down Thin mattress and this old blanket with no sheet to use which is not acceptable USB port didn't work Lots of noise from people coming and going and talking

Ended up not staying there, every bed was dirty. Property wasn’t in great condition. Had stayed in capsule hotels before but this was a no for me.

You get what you pay for...

Excellent value for the price, but with that comes the sort of guests that will have a loud argument late at night with their boyfriend. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are decent for the price, but not as clean as ideal.

Didn't expect much from this place but at the end, i was actually surprised by how much i liked and appreciated it all

Excellent value for money. Like student accommodation. Comfortable. Great location, near Central railway station, next to tram stop, close to Chinatown food. Clean and safe. Fourth floor general room was well used but quiet enough to get work done on the table. I will use again.
