No Aircon or Fan No hooks in bathrooms Small cake of soap not convenient would prefer small bottles soap and shampoo and conditioner. Overall good value for money

Loved the big, old hotel. Just felt it needed a bit of upkeep in the room. Some sound proofing from the road noise would really help.

The family room was spacious, clean & comfortable. It was nice to make a cuppa in the morning! I would stay again but bring noise canceling ear buds as the traffic was noisy outside all night on Pyrmont bridge Rd . The hotel offered ear plugs but I didn’t find them in kitchen draw till morning . The windows are not double glazed. Window in kitchen needs block out blind as sun came through early in the am.

As a solo traveller I spent just over a week at the Dunkirk in Pyrmont- everything was seemless and there was no issues - I ate in the pub a couple of times and the food was very high quality, quick and delicious - I was a little unsure about sharing a bathroom as I made my booking late and this option was not available however there really was no problems at all - everywhere was very clean. My room was huge and the bed was massive - extremely comfy for me and my pillows were Devine (I’m very fussy about pillows) all the staff was super friendly and the hotel was able to hold my bags in a secure place for the day as I had a night time flight - bus stop outside across the road into town and bondi junction was really super convenient - I would stay again and highly recommend - all the best to everyone at the Dunkirk that made my week is Sydney a very memorable one

Average, for the price convenient & walkable. Broken furniture & fan, door tends to get stuck! Needs refurbishing. Old building hence room is smelly.

I didn't like being on the second floor as my partner has a bad hip that needs surgery and I have two knee replacements that still give me pain and are weak! I would be good if when you make the booking to be asked if you have any special needs? we are both aver 70 and the stairs were a killer! My partner is a heavy smoker and therefore had to take the stairs to go down to the smoking area! The smoking area WAS ETREMELY NOISY DUE TO THE POKER MACHINE THAT YELLING OUT EVERY TIME THE PLAYER WON A PRIZE! It needs to moved further into the gaming area! Had I known that I could have paid a higher fee and had a room with an en-suite I would have done so as I have done for my next stay with you in July!

A great Aussie pub stay with friendly staff. Value for money & safe for three women for a night. Bring your ear plugs for some street noise and make sure you enjoy a meal and drink.

Shared bathrooms were clean. Staff doubled as bartender and servers at the pub. Heated carafe was junked up with previous occupants residual Raman. Yuck. LOUD on some nights. Lots of traffic noise including emergency vehicles. Ceiling fan adequate to keep cool in March, but needed to keep windows open too, so….LOUD.
