The Polish Place

National park was close by. The breakfast basket was lovely.

Our cabin at The Polish Place was well situated for a fabulous view and we enjoyed lovely sunsets on the verandah. The very generous breakfast basket was much appreciated and made our stay more special. It is a short drive to a number of waterfalls and other attractions such as the Gallery Walk. Thanks for a memorable stay!

The cabin is equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful couple of days away, including a cooktop, dishwasher and spa bath. The views over the western escarpment are just magnificent. The location is close enough to the town centre to be convenient, but far enough to enjoy the serenity of the landscapes.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay, this message was sent to the accommodation place with no return. Given the cost of the accommodation we expected everything in the place to be working but: 1. The TV would just randomly turn off (usually after 15-30 mins), we asked management to look at it and received an image of the TV turned on with “all fixed”, when we returned to the accommodation the TV still wasn’t working. 2. The spa bath (the main reason we booked the accomodation) was not working, the jets didn’t turn on 3. The rain shower wasn’t working and we had to fix the switcher ourselves. 4. The dishwasher didn’t work, even when turning the PowerPoint under the sink on 5. There were no curtains so we were woken up at 5am each morning 6. Cobwebs on the ceiling throughout the place As we paid over $350 a night for the accommodation we expected it to be of a higher standard with all working amenities. When checking out this morning (around 9:20) the reception wasn’t open/no one was there so we couldn’t voice these concerns with management.

View and privacy were the greatest! Bathroom was renovated, very nice.

Worth going back to

Great views, close to lots of attractions. Shame about the traffic noise that started early in the morning and continued throughout the day. The breakfast basket looked good until we realised that there were only 3 slim rashes of bacon for the two of us each day.

What a beautiful place for a getaway. The views are amazing. The cottage itself was fantastic. HugeTV, electric double theatre lounge, spa in lounge room, renovated bathroom with double shower head. We could not ask for anymore. Oh and a breakfast basket for the entire stay including bacon & eggs. Cannot speak highly enough about our stay.

The entire package is great. The site, location and amenities are exactly as advertised and if anything the website undersold the experience. Highly recommend for a weekend away.

Just a superb place to stay. The views are spectacular and the area is beautiful. The spa bath in the lounge is just a dream especially with the fire roaring and good music playing. It's a shame there wasn't any bath robes to out on after the spa bath

This place is amazing. Think breathtaking views (literally people jostling for space down the road to look at the same view for sunset), thoughtfully designed cabins and special touches like a welcome basket with bacon and eggs, orange juice and other goodies. The cabin has been lovingly maintained and has everything needed for an amazing stay. Even has double glazed windows, wood for the fireplace. Balcony is very private, but has breathtaking views. If you are looking for a place to go for a few days away to relax, soak up views and recharge this place absolutely fits the bill.

All was fantastic other than the wifi straight. We would have enjoyed watching a movie but we were unable to due to poor wifi strength.

From the time we arrive we where welcome with a beautiful greeting & our breakfast basket for our two days was amazing. So good to find an Adults Only self contained accommodation with amazing views that were so relaxing. Sadly this family run business after Fourty years have sold so we do hope the next people are just as welcoming.

The views from the balcony are stunning and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
