This aparthotel exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, spacious, and offered a very safe and comfortable environment. The location was unbeatable—only a short walk to the Christmas Markets, which made our trip even more special. We would absolutely stay here again.

The place was great! Clean, new bathroom, elevator, one of a kind. The only little difficulty was dropping off the luggage with very limited space to park in front. Once parked at the garage on the street parallel, all was ok. When we arrived the place was very warm which was great since it’s winter and we reduced the heat and it was all good. The rooms are super spacious with very high ceilings and vintage furniture, talking to the owner, we heard there are only four family hotels left. I hope this place is able to stay in business!

I was nervous about the other reviews . Bed comfortable and plenty of quilt options . Noise on last night from moving about in room above did disturb me unfortunately. That was our last night so we were lucky. I think if it had been like that all our trip I would have been annoyed. So maybe request no one above you if poss. I would not let that put you off though. The authentic character property a 10 minute walk from volkstheatre and museum quarter was perfect. We didn’t want for anything in our room. It would have been nice to see staff about the property more but then they were there if we needed them. Bathroom was gorgeous water consistently hot different times during the day. Supermarket and plenty of cafes and restaurants on surrounding streets. We will stay again.

Lovely apartment which worked well for 3 adults and 1 child. 2 separate rooms and 3 beds. Nice walk to museum quarter and easily walkable into main city but plenty of transport options. Different as not modern really feel like you are staying somewhere historic.

Loved my stay at Rothensteiner! The location was great—really close to the heart of the city amd transportation. The apartment was blending with the historic vibe of Vienna. It had all needed amenities incl. A/C, and was spacious. Great host. Highly recommended!

Rothensteiner Hotel is a beautiful retro Building located not so far from the city center (it is close indeed if you like to walk). From the very first step in, I loved it. I love the atmosphere, the interiors, the hallway, the stoned stairs and the little elevator. It feels like a movie set. My room was just fine. Intimate, independent, fully functioning services, a warm (and sweet) welcome with all the information I needed and as a cherry on top of the cake.. a coffee machine plenty of capsules (you got me for life there!). The view from the windows, on the inner courtyard and the inviting rooftop terrace (unfortunately, the weather did not give the occasion to experience that too). Above all, a very nice staff. Renate, was just the kindest person and a very thoughtful host. Next time in Vienna I definitely know where I'll spend my time.

This hotel was a gem!!! The hotel owners live on site and were able to help us quickly when needed. The room was outstanding and quiet!!! No sounds from neighboring rooms or from outside, despite being in the center of a bustling city. Would highly recommend!!

Waren schon sehr oft in diesem wunderbaren Hotel.Zimmer haben viel Charme,sehr nettes Personal.Bekamen diesmal sogar eine wunderschöne Suite,als Ausweichzimmer zum normalen Preis eines Doppelzimmers.Können dieses besondere Hotel unsere volle Empfehlung aussprechen.In der Nähe auch Geschäfte und viele Lokale.

Apartamento bem equipado, cama boa, chuveiro bom, boa localização, não tão próximo das atrações principais, mas ainda assim acessível à pé. A ambientação antiga das instalações é outro ponto alto. Recomendo.

Check-in rápido, pudimos acomodarnos antes de la hora de entrada. Acababan de limpiar, todo perfecto.
Apartamento con excelente ubicación, muy próximo al centro de la ciudad. Dos estancias y baño muy amplios, recibidor con cocina más que adecuada.
Totalmente recomendable, sin duda alguna.
Mejorable (por poner algo): amenities en el baño

Ancien mais superbe établissement classieux et très bien entretenu et equipé. Bien situé dans un quartier tres vivant (boutiques restaurants mais sans le delire de la foule. 600ml a pied et on est directement sur la boucle du boulevard ou se situent la grande majorité des monuments de cette tres jolie ville. Dommage que les abords du fleuve ne soit pas du tout a la hauteur??!!?? Mais bon le reste est superbe et les gens adorables.
