Passage Boutique Hotel

The rooms were nice and comfortable but the only problem was that the internet was not working good.Other than that I enjoyed my stay a lot! The location was also perfect!

Hotel is pretty & breakfast is good but they don’t even provide towels.

I had an awful experience at this hotel. First off, it’s not a hotel. It’s a budget hostel. It’s in no way boutique. Most of the reviews are purchased and you can tell by the fact that the reviewers have one review to their name - this one. The water in the showers is piping hot with no way to adjust the temperature. Because of this they switched my room. The water temp didn’t change. Speaking of switching rooms, I booked a double deluxe room only to find out they provided me with the cheapest room in the house on the same floor as reception. The level of noise in the lobby left me quite uncomfortable. They then told me they’d charge me an extra $60 to put me IN THE ROOM I BOOKED. The room I booked was disgusting and had urine on the toilet seat along with dirt in the shower. I called Expedia and was promised a better room— again, a double deluxe room. That was because reception told Expedia they’d provide me that — they didn’t. They simply sent me to another budget room with a non-working shower and dirt surrounding. The listing online says the spa is complementary— it wasn’t. They charge $15 for usage. Along with that, they gave me a dirty towel and ignored me when I asked for the steam room and whirlpool to be turned in. Instead, they just turned the sauna on. When I approached staff about the dirty towel, they scoffed.

There is nothing "boutique" about this hotel. The location is great, 10m walking to Fountain Sq. & Old City. If you're in town for F1, 10-15min to most entry gates. The staff was friendly. The property may be undergoing a renovation, and I perhaps got the worst, not yet renovated room (Junior Studio "Suite"). The wall paper was peeling in multiple areas, the steps into the room were missing a border, the furniture was dated and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The tub was legitimately almost 3 feet high which made getting in & out downright dangerous. Moreover, there was a leak from under the tub that created large puddles on the floor during every use. We made several complaints to the front desk but maybe due to language barriers, they kept sending someone to dry the floor not fix the problem. Not worth the headache to keep complaining, checked out early and went to a different hotel.

Really good location in the city centre of Baku, walking distance to most places

My first stay at this hotel was fine, but the second time was a complete nightmare. They tried to check me and my child into a room with water running down the walls. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. In the middle of the night, we were sent to another hotel — the employee who was supposed to guide us didn’t know the way and disappeared right after we arrived. The next morning, I had to walk back with my luggage, and despite being promised a refund and compensation for the awful night, nothing was ever done. I stayed only because I had no other choice before a long flight, but this experience ruined my vacation memories. This hotel urgently needs renovation and serious staff training. Definitely would not recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at Passage Boutique Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to many sights. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I felt safe and welcome during my visit. I would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

great place excellent staff and in the center of the city

We stayed here for 3 nights, standard room, we told them about shower head detached which was tapped to supply pipe, bidet shower head missing, staff said we will fix it but they didn’t till end of our stay, maintenance staff is terrible, evidence from lose plumbing fixtures and towel racks and soap holders, the towel service only give you towel if you are in room, they don’t have room key, so they missed giving fresh towels for 2 days because we were out of room when they come, not a good system, we booked a double room and they gave us 2 twin beds joined together, not comfortable, the comforters were separate instead of one double size comforter, I was planning to stay again on May 13 to 15 but based on this experience I cancelled my booking, the counter staff was polite and helpful which was the only good experience , location is good, close to Nizami street.
